After rowing across the harbor and making it to land, the trio get out of their boats.

"I'm sorry. Everything's fine." Eugene reassures before taking his satchel, "There's just something I have to take care of."

Rapunzel notices Eugene clutching his satchel for a second before relenting, "Okay."

"Are you gonna need help with whatever you need to do?" Jonah asked as he glances at the rogue's satchel before looking back at him.

"No need, but thanks." Eugene politely refuses. "Besides, you're her bodyguard."

Knowing Eugene has a point about the bodyguard thing, and hoping he does the right thing, Jonah reluctantly nods in agreement. But he still has a bad feeling about what's about to transpire.

"I'll be right back." Eugene promises before turning and leaving with his satchel to do what needs to be done.

The tower girl and her bodyguard couldn't help but worry about Eugene. Even Pascal is worried.

"It's alright, Pascal." Rapunzel reassures her chameleon friend, though she's not very sure herself, so she turns to her bodyguard, "It is alright, isn't it, Jonah?"

"Hmm?" Was all the rider let out before really understanding what she's asking. "Oh! Yeah, I'm sure it's fine."

That's his hope, anyway.

They both look in the direction Eugene walked into in worry. For Eugene and about what he might do.

"Whatever this is, Fitzherbert, it better be the last one." Jonah thought to himself. "After that, for Rapunzel's sake, if not your own, you best go straight."

"I'll just give the crown to the Stabbingtons, turn around and walk back to the group." Eugene promises to himself as he walks further across the shoreline. "After this, for Rapunzel, I go straight."

As soon as he sees the Stabbington Brothers, Sideburns sitting on a rock sharpening a piece of wood into a stake and Eyepatch glaring at Eugene with his arms crossed, Eugene speaks up, "Ah! There you guys are! Things have been pretty hectic since we got separated, haven't they? The sideburns are coming in nice, huh? Gotta be excited about that."

The brothers aren't having any of it right now.

Eugene smiles awkwardly before he continues, "Anyhow, just wanted to say, I shouldn't have split, the crown is all yours." He tosses the satchel with the crown in it. "I'll miss you, guys, but I do believe it's for the..." As Eugene tries to leave, he's stopped by a metallic hand on his shoulder. "... best."

He turns to see that the hand belongs to Jason Graves, the man that attacked Jonah yesterday.

"Not holding out on these guys again, are ya, Rider?" Graves asks knowingly.

"What are you talking about?" Eugene, not liking where Graves' going with this, asked.

"Your new friend, Payne." Sideburns says as he gets off the rock and back to his feet. "Jason's got a bone to pick with him, and it's long overdue."
