My Girl.

Audrey's pov-

Today was Crystal and I's track competition day, where other people from different school come and compete. Of course I'm scared, we are getting ready for the competition. I'm up first with Crystal and we are going against two girls, their names are Grace and Emily. We are doing 4x100 but it's me and Crystal on a team and Grace and Emily on a team, we are all the fastest of the fastest here so I'm actually really scared because I've seen them run before. Right now I'm running 50 of the 4x100 and I put Crystal against Emily at the last part because they are both really fast. I look up at the stands and see my girlfriend with her whole basketball team, cheering me and Crystal on. The race begins and Grace and I are beck and neck but I speed up more and past her, handing the baton to Crystal who gets us the win, she keeps running around the track until she meets me in the middle and we both celebrate.

Crystal's pov-

I was so scared this morning, when I got lined up next to Emily I almost shit my pants..but I got Audrey and I the win so we are going into the championship. Everyone is doing what we just did and in the end we are going against two boys their names, Evan and Jacob. I was put in last again next to Evan while Audrey and Jacob start the race. I've seen Evan run before and I'm so scared, we get the baton and the same time and begin running he's a few inches ahead of me but I push through and get Audrey and I the win. I run around the track until I met Audrey in the middle and we both jump up and down, celebrating until I feel a guys hands push me to the floor. I look up and see that Evan pushed me, Audrey helps me up and they start arguing.

Evan: "you guys cheated! Girls don't run that fast!" He yells at Audrey, pushing her."

I put myself in front of Audrey so she wouldn't get pushed again, Evan is not yelling at me and Jacob is holding him back.

Jacob: "bro, just face the fact that they won! We got second in the championship, it's not that bad!"

Evan: "not that bad.! We lost to girl! Girls!"

Crystal: "so.? Act like a big boy and suck it up!"

Evan: "oh you wanna to hoe!? We can go!" He says jumping at me but Jacob holds him back, Audrey is still standing behind me.

Audrey: "woah! Let's not-"

Evan manages to get out to Jacobs grip and he tackles me to the floor.

Crystal: "ow! Get off me!" I yell at him, trying to get him off me.

Evan: "I lost to you and you get to pay the price!" He says while punching my stomach really hard. I feel him get lifted off my by the coaches then I sit up and see Paige yelling at Evan while her whole basketball team is holding her back, Azzi is talking to Audrey making sure she's okay.

Paige: "never touch her again!" I hear her yell, loudly. I lay back down because sitting up hurts, a lot. I'm staring up at the sky then the I see Paige standing above me.

Paige: "are you okay, love.?" She asks while helping me up off the floor.

I nod then hug her tightly, tearing up. I feel her rubbing my back and hear her mumble "I'm sorry, love.."

{time skip- in Paige, Azzi, Audrey, and Crystal's apartment}

Crystal: "it hurtsss" I've been whining for over the past hour of how much the giant bruise on my stomach hurts. Audrey already gave me pain meds but it still hurts, I have my head in Paige's lap and I'm holding ice over the bruise. Paige is playing with my hair as I'm starting to fall asleep.

{a few hours later}

I wake up in Paige's room and she's cuddling me, it's already nine at night and it's dark out. Paige is awake but she has her eyes closed and she's playing with my hair. She noticed I'm awake and she smiles.

Paige: "I have a question for you.."

Crystal: "what is it.?"

Paige: "wanna be my girlfriend.?"

I look at her in shock, the girl i've been in love with for years just asked me out, I smile and look at her straight in the eyes.

Crystal: "yes!?"

She looks at me for a few more seconds then she leans in for a kiss, which I gladly return.

Paige: "my girl." I hear Paige mumble as she cuddles her head into my chest and wraps her arms around my waist. At this point I'm already blushing and smiling too much, Paige Bueckers is officially my girl, after years of waiting. She's finally MY girl.

We are finally daring Paige Bueckers! (I wish irl 😔) but..we're daring her now! What do we think of this chapter.? We now have a giant bruise on our stomach because of Evan's ego being too big.
