Reunited.

Crystal pov-

Today is the day I'm seeing Paige after two years and a few months, I Miss her so much. Her voice, her laugh, her smile, her looks, her hair, her attitude, her. Everything about her I miss and love, of course I still love her but I don't know if she still likes me or..if she even liked me in the first place. I arrive at the airport and see Azzi, Paige, Nika, KK, Ice, Aubrey, all waiting for me at the entrance with a sign saying 'welcome to UConn, haven't seen you in a while track star.' After seeing that poster, it made me want to cry. I run up to Nika and she runs to me, meeting me in the center where we both do a big hug that laster for around a minute. At this point I'm already crying tears of joy and I go to hug everyone, leaving Paige for last.

Paige's pov-

When I saw Crystal, she looked better than the last time I saw her. She's no longer wearing make up anymore so I see the freckles all over her face, oh how i've misses her smile. As Crystal was hugging everyone I couldn't seem to help but notice that she left me for last, when she finished hugging Azzi I was the last one she has to hug. She stares at me, already crying and I tear up, we both stay there staring at each other for a while before I give in and grasp her in a big tight hug. At this point she's crying even more and saying 'I'm sorry' but I don't listen because i've missed her too much.

Crystal: "I'm sorry.."

Paige: "stop saying that, it's fine. We're here now and everything is going to be okay.." I say to her before letting go of her and kissing the top of her head.

Paige: "I missed you.."

she sighs and it looks like she wants to say something
Paige: "are you okay.?" I asked confused

Crystal: "yeah..let's just go to my new school.." she says while smiling.

Some people around us were clapping for us, why.? I could ask myself the same thing. Nika was driving us to UConn and Crystal got aux, so she ended up picking the best song known to man.."Let it go" from Frozen. The best song ever to sing your heart out to, once we were at the dorms everyone greeted Crystal since it's been a few years. She left to go to her dorm and what I assume she's going to do is unpack her stuff.

Crystal's pov-

I was in my dorm unpacking my stuff when I heard a knock at the door.

Crystal: "come in!" I say and they open the door, I had my back to the door but when I smelled a familiar perfume I knew straight away that was Paige. "Hi Paige" I say without even looking back at the person.

Paige: "hey, wait..how'd ya know it was me.?!" She asks while sitting on my bed next to where I was unpacking my stuff.

Crystal: "Because I'm just like that.." I tell her while giggling.

Paige: "hm..okayy, anyways we are all going to the park. Wanna come.? I wanna race you!"

Crystal: "you wanna race..me.?" I say in a sarcastic tone while letting out some chuckles

Paige: "yes..what, scared I'll beat you.?" She says in a cocky tone

Crystal: "please, if anyone should be scared. It should be you..I'm a track runner, you're a basketball player."

Paige: "so.?"

Crystal: "my fastest time for running a mile is three minutes Paige, you sure you want to race me.?"

Paige: "mhm..if I win you have to buy me..."

Crystal: "Chick-fil-a!!" I say jumping up and down.

Paige: "hm..okay, Chick-fil- a it is..but, if you win I have to buy you Chick-fil-a.."

Crystal: "deal!" I say enthusiastically while sticking out my hand to finalize the deal. As Paige sticks her hand out to shake my hand someone yells from the kitchen for us to hurry up, we quickly shake hands then leave to go to the kitchen. In the kitchen I see the whole basketball team there including Audrey and Rose, Rose is talking to KK while Audrey is on Azzi's lap. Wait..Audrey is on Azzi's lap.!? Oh..sorry, forgot to mention that during summer break since Audrey is one year older than me she moved here with them to UConn and over break I heard from Audrey that her and Azzi are dating. Surprising.!? Not really..they were really flirting at first so..wouldn't surprise me.

Audrey: "Let's go, I wanna see Crystal leave Paige's ass in the dust!" Audrey says while getting off Azzi's lap.

Everyone laughs, not including Paige then we all get in two different cars since there's a lot of us. We finally make it to the park after around 10 minutes and I'm stretching so I don't pull anything while Paige is also stretching. Audrey and KK are recording as well as Azzi in the middle, Audrey at the starting line, Azzi in the middle and KK at the end. We get in runner's position and Nika is counting us down.

Nika: "3..2..1..go!!" Nika yells at us.

So far I am ahead of Paige but she's not too far behind me, I would be surprised but she plays baseball. When we pass Nika I full on sprint and leave Paige behind, running to the finish line and beating her. She finishes not too long later, I go up to her and high five her as she's still trying to catch her breath.

Paige: "How do you do this as a sport.!?" She says still very out of breath.

Crystal: "um..don't know, don't care. But..you have to buy me Chick-Fil-A so..."

Audrey: "race ya to the park!" Audrey yells at me and starts running off towards the tiny play structure in the distance. I'm not very far behind but since she got a head start she had a little advantage, I still beat her to the play structure though. We both start playing on the play structure as everyone is walking towards the play structure, meanwhile. Audrey and I are running around and going down the slides, playing on the swings, climbing the roof of the structure, all that crazy stuff.

Paige: "10 minutes to play then we're going to Chick-Fil-A!!" Paige screams at me and Audrey still playing and running around.

How do we feel about Audrey and Azzi dating.? I know it's sudden but I wanted to add something, hope you are enjoying the book so far. :)
