{this is a few months later- srry abt all the time skips.}

Paige's pov-

School is about to start and my team decides that we should play a pickup game just to get back into the flow. We play against another team and we start playing, I see Crystal and Audrey cheering for us in the stands. Towards the end of the game I fall but I get back up and keep running but it hurts, I throw the ball to Nika then fall on the floor in pain.
Geno and my whole team surrounds me as I'm on the floor crying and holding my knee in pain, I get carried off the floor and onto the bench. After the game I go to the doctors to get x-rays and to get my knee professionally looked at to see if anythings wrong, a few hours later we are still at the doctor's office and I find out my ACL is torn in my left knee. I decided to have a surgery but it's scheduled in a week from now so I have to wear a cast to over it and I have to walk with crutches.
I get back to the dorm after a few hours at the doctors and everyone is in the living room waiting for the news, I tell them and they all say 'sorry' and we all hug. They leave after a bit and it's just Azzi, Audrey, Crystal, and I in the dorm since it's our apartment.

{weeks later- 2 days after Paige gets the surgery}

I'm laying in bed right now, Crystal is trying to get me to eat but I'm not hungry so I decline and continue to stare into the ceiling. She's talking to me about how it was for her to recover after her ACL tear but I just zone her out, after a while I realize she left so I just decide to go to sleep.

Crystal's pov-

I'm just trying to help Paige feel better because of her injury but she's just pushing me away, I leave to go to practice one day and when I come back Paige isn't anywhere to be found in the dorm so I go to the place where I know she might be. I drive to the basketball practice building and see Paige standing in the middle of the court trying to shoot a three pointer without her crutches, I quickly run over and hand her, her crutches she takes them and starts walking towards the door.

Crystal: "what's your problem.!? I have been nothing but nice and trying to help you ever since you got this injury but you're just pushing me away!"

Paige: "my..what's MY problem!? That I can't play basketball! I can't run or do anything!"

Crystal: "that's how I felt when I had my ACL torn! Now you kn-"

Paige: "no! You don't get to say that to me! I know it was hard for you but I have to sit out for almost the whole season!"

Crystal: "I had to, too! Paige, we both do sports but you're acting like only you do sports!"

Paige: "because I'm more famous than you! I have more fans! I have more on the line than you!"

I stay quiet as Paige yells at me, she stops after a while then walks to the door.

Paige: "I can't do this.."

Crystal: "do what.?"

Paige: "this..we're over Crystal.."

With that Paige just walks out the building, leaving me in tears. I want to chase after her bur I can't because my feet feel like they're stuck to the ground.

It's been a week since Paige and I broke up, she looks more happy but I've just been stuck in my room unless I have practice or school. Everyone tries to get me to come out my room but it most likely never works, I've seen Paige's instagram lately and she's out there. Going to clubs, partying, talking to new girls, fans. I feel happy for her but I still miss her, Audrey took me out partying one night and I got REALLY drunk and ended up doing it..with some random dude. The next morning I threw up and I was about to leave to go get a pregnancy test from the store but Nika, Paige, Azzi, KK, Ice, Aaliyah, and Audrey all walk in.

Audrey: "going somewhere.?"

Crystal: "uh..just to the park..?" I try to lie to Audrey but I know she can read me like a book.

Audrey: "hm..you sure.? Because I feel like you're lying to me."

Crystal: "I'm not.." just when I say that, Ice takes out chicken from the freezer to make dinner but I gag at the smell.

Ice: "hate the smell of chicken.?"

Crystal: gags again "no..it's just- can someone open a window or something.!?" I say while holding my nose shut.

Nika: "I'll do it.. but since when do you hate the smell of chicken.? I thought you love chicken.?" Nika questions me when walking over to a window and opening it.

Crystal: "I do like chicken! I don't know why but the smell is just..eugh."

Paige: "the smell of chicken.? Hey, weren't you also partying last night.?"

KK: "what's that have to do with the smell of chicken, Paige.!?"

I hear Audrey gasp from behind me and I turn around to cover her mouth.

Crystal: "me and Audrey will have a chat real quick." I give them all an awkward smile before dragging Audrey into my room and locking the door.

Audrey: "OH MY GOSH! DO YOU THINK-"

Crystal: "Audrey! Shut up!"

Audrey: "sorry! But do you think-"

Crystal: "I was trying to go to the store to get a test but you all walked in so.."

Audrey: "wait..want me to go buy you one?."

Crystal: "please..I don't want to buy it.."

Audrey: "okay..stay here, I'll be back!" She says to me before hugging me and jogging out my door , I hear her yell "DON'T ASK QUESTIONS!!" To the girls before the front door slams.
