Sick

Paige's pov-

  Crystal is currently sick with a cold, I did not know she was this clingy when she is sick but now I will trust anything Nika says about Crystal when she's sick or something. I'm cuddling her right now, she has her head on my chest and one of her legs over my body so I can't go anywhere. She's practically been asleep the whole day which I don't think is good but when she's not sick she sleeps a lot when she's not doing anything.

  Audrey and Azzi went to the store to get medicine and some of her favorite things since I couldn't go, when she wakes up a few hours later I make her take the medicine but she won't drink it.

  Paige: "come on, just one big swallow!"

  Crystal: "no!" Her voice is raspy and sounds a lot different.

  Paige: "pleasee! Then I'll let you have some candy!"

  Crystal: "nope!" She looks away crossing her arms.

  I take and drink the medicine but hold it in my mouth, I kiss Crystal and let all of the medicine in her mouth. I make sure she swallows it then after she gives me a pouty look but I kiss her forehead and hand her SweatTart Ropes. My guess is that she's a little mad at me but I got her to drink the medicine and that's all that matters, she is still making the pouty look at me but she's cuddling me and watching her show while eating the candy.

  I take a photo of her because she looks so cute right now and so content, after a few hours she fell asleep with a candy in her mouth and that makes me laugh so I take a photo of her before taking the candy out her mouth and eating it. I put the bag to the side and her laptop to the side so she can lay down and we can cuddle, she coughs a bit and it's a crunchy cough but not that bad.

  A few days later and she's gotten much better, she only has a raspy voice and a stuffy noise which is really good because the coughing and the sneezing went away. She's still really clingy though so Audrey and Azzi had to pry her off my side so I can go to practice, when Azzi and I came back from practice a few hours later. Audrey is chasing Crystal around the living room and kitchen because Crystal needs to take her medicine.

  Crystal: "I'm not taking that nasty shit!"

  Audrey: "just come here!!"

They continue chasing each other around for a bit before falling on the couch and the floor, they are both panting and they are both sweating a bit.

  Azzi: "dang..how long have you been chasing Crystal around.?"

  Audrey: "an hour! This girl will not take her meds!"

  Paige: "let me see.."

  I do my trick again with me taking the medicine then kissing her so the medicine goes in her mouth, I make sure she swallows then I give her some candy. I gave her a KitKat because that was the thing closest to me, Audrey just looks at me shocked and Azzi is trying so hard to hold her laugh in.

  Audrey: "It's been an hour, Crystal! All I had to do was bribe you with candy or kiss you!?"

  Paige: "hey, she's mine! No kissing her!"

  Audrey: "I've known her longer!"

  Paige: "I'm in a relationship with her!"
 
  Audrey: "blah, blah, blah." Audrey rolls her eyes at me playfully then she goes back in her and Azzi's room, Azzi followed after her not long after.

  I pick Crystal off of the floor and bring her to our room, I lay her on the bed and hand her water bottle, her laptop, candy, my jacket, and a stuffed animal. I went to go shower and when I come back she has the jacket on and she's hugging the stuffed animal, she looks like she's on the verge if falling asleep but she's trying so hard to keep herself awake right now. I lay down next to her and cuddle her, she cuddles into me and closes her eyes but she quickly opens them up again.

  Paige: "go to sleep if you're tired, mama.."

  Crystal: "hmm..I'm not-"

  Paige: "yes you are , ma. Just go to sleep." I kiss her forehead and she finally listens to me and she goes to sleep.
