Chapter 11

DAY 7 - NIGHT 7 - MONTH LONG NIGHT

**AMELIA'S POV**

It was now day seven.  We were still hiding in the attic.  We all slept in shifts, so we could take turns keeping watch. 

Eben and I slept right beside each other every night, and we cuddle together every night.  Eben and I stayed close beside each other, no matter what. 

We were still hiding in the attic.  Eben, Carter, and Beau were keeping watch.  I was asleep, while Eben kept watch.  Eben stayed right next to me, watching over me as I slept. 

When Eben kept watch; he always watched over me when I was sleeping.  When I kept watch, Eben would stay up with me, making sure that I was okay. 

Eben and I always looked out for each other, and we love each other. 

"HELP!" A voice cried. 

What and who was that?  I opened my eyes, immediately waking up. 

"SOMEBODY!  HELP!" The voice cried. 

I sat up, and I was immediately concerned.  Eben looked outside; looking through the peep hole that we made. We had covered the windows, to shield us from the vampires.  We could only look outside through the little peep hold that was made. 

Eben looked over at me, seeing that I was awake.  I stood up, and I walked up to Eben, standing next to him.  Eben wrapped his arm around me, pulling me into him. 

"Baby, you okay?" Eben asked me. 

"Yeah, I'm fine babe.  What's going on?" I asked. 

"There's a woman walking the streets, calling for help" Eben said. 

I looked out of the peep hold with Eben.  There was a woman wandering the streets, calling for help. She looked like she really needed help. 

"Babe, what do we do?" I asked. 

"Look at the rooftops baby" Eben said. 

I looked up at the rooftops. Vampires were watching the woman.  Oh Fuck!

"Babe, what are they doing?" I asked. 

"They are using the woman as bait" Eben said. 

"What's going on?" Beau asked. 

"We can help her" Carter said. 

"They are using her as bait, trying to lure anyone out" Eben said. 

"Fuck" Beau said. 

Eben loaded up his gun, and he geared up. 

"What are you going to do?" Beau asked. 

"I'm going to check the perimeter, and see if I can find a way to get that woman out of there" Eben said. 

"I'm going with you babe" I said.

"Baby; are you sure? It's dangerous" Eben said. 

"I'm sure babe. You need some back up. I'm not scared" I said. 

Eben pulled me into a tight hug; and he kissed my forehead. 

"Alright baby, just stay close to me" Eben said. 

"I will; I promise babe" I said. 

"I love you baby" Eben said. 

"I love you too babe" I said. 

Eben kissed me, and we prepared to go outside. I also picked up a crowbar; that was hanging on the wall. 

Carter lowered the attic step-ladder, and we climbed down out of the attic quietly. 

"Both of you be careful" Carter said. 

"Keep an eye out for us.  We will knock twice when we are back" Eben said. 

"We got you" Carter said. 

"Stay safe" I said. 

"You too" Carter said. 

Carter closed the attic door, and we readied ourselves.

"You ready baby?" Eben asked me. 

"Ready as I'll ever be babe" I said. 

Eben kissed me, and we made our way outside, walking out of the back door. Eben led the way, and I followed behind him.
