Chapter 3

NYA'S POV (now in first person)

I watched as Jay led Kai away from everyone. Jay must've noticed me staring at them, because he signaled for me to join them. I walked in and closed the door behind me.

"What is it?" I asked, looking from Kai to Jay. Jay was grinning, and my heart immediately melted to mush when I saw his adorable enthusiastic smile.

"Kai's gonna ask Skylor to be his Yang!" Jay said. I gasped and hugged my brother.

"That's amazing!" I exclaimed. "Ooh there's no way she's gonna say no!" Kai smiled.

"But you can't ask her while looking like a porcupine, Kai," I pointed out, causing him to frown at me. Jay laughed.

"That's alright. In fact, Skylor will want to know you're not afraid to change who you are or how you look. He'll be fine, looking like a porcupine," Jay said, his gorgeous electric blue eyes sparkling. We laughed, and Kai glared at both of us.

I have Jay a quick kiss on the lips and turned to leave. "I'm gonna go help PIXAL build the new mechs. I'll let you know as soon as we're done," I added with a laugh, seeing the look on his face.

"Okay then. Kai, back to the lesson. Concentrate on breathing, concentrate on focusing. Focus on the task in front of you, and that task is asking the love of your life to be your beloved Yang. Allow your inner self to take full control..."

I smiled to myself as I exited the room. Jay seriously was more brave and smart than anyone thought he was. Everyone always underestimates my handsome boyfriend. That was going to come to an end.

"Hey PIXAL!" I called up to the female nindroid who was currently working on a red mech for Kai.

"Hello, Nya! I'm just getting started on Kai's mech. Would you like to help me? Or would you like to start working on either Zane's or Jay's mech?"

"I'll help you with my brother's mech."

"Okay!"

We were working on the fire mech when all five boys walked in. Surprised to see them, I said, "Hey guys! What are you doing here?" They all grabbed some tools from the tool box.

"We thought you could use some help. I mean, you have eight mechs to build!" Jay flashed an extremely charming smile at me. I wanted to kiss him so badly.

"Aw, that's so sweet you guys!" Me and PIXAL exclaimed. Lloyd laughed.

"Okay. Nya, Pix, you two work on the fire mech. Me, Jay, and Kai will work on the lightning mech, and Zane and Cole will work on the earth mech. After that, we'll switch. Kai and me will work on the fire mech, Zane and Jay will work on the ice mech, and Nya and Cole can work on the fire mech, while Pix helps us out with the earth mech. Oh, and we need to build me an energy mech too, so we'll work on that as a team afterwards. We also need to make a mech for Master Wu. And a new Samurai X mech for PIXAL." Lloyd explained. Everyone started working, and we took a break for lunch.
