The camera cuts to show the inside of the new area he's found himself in from his perspective.

He's surprised to actually find some dim light in this next area, a long corridor with a bend to the left at the end.

Elias
(Thoughts)
Wait, does that mean someone may be down here after all?

It still looks in poor shape, but the presence of torches implies someone's been keeping the light going.

Walking along the stone floor, he can still feel the dampness of the cave despite being in walls now. It's warmer though, which is welcome as it gets a bit colder while night grows closer.

He abruptly hears sounds of clanking as a guard seems to be approaching through the corridor around the bend.

Knowing he has to hide, he opens a door and goes inside. It's what looks to be an old armory.

Elias
(Quiet)
I could use this armor for a disguise if only it wasn't so outdated.

He remarks at how the design of their kingdom's armor has clearly changed since.

Elias
(Quiet)
But wait, if it's a disguise I need...

He puts his ear against the door to listen for the guard's approach. As the guard gets closer, the sound of metal and footsteps get louder.

As the guard seems to pass, he opens the door slowly, as to not make to much noise. From this noise the guard stops briefly, but doesn't turn around.

Guard
Hmph. Creaky old hall.

He continues walking.

Elias finishes coming through the door and sneaks up behind the guard. He knows he must act fast before he can react, and unsheathes his sword, putting it at the guards neck.

Guard
(Shock)
W-What?!

The guard reaches for his own sword, but Elias pushes his sword against his neck, making him stop.

Elias
I wouldn't do that... If you want to keep your neck from being slit, do not resist.

Guard
(Shaky)
W-What do you want...?

Elias smirks.

Elias
Follow me to this room.

The guard looks back to see Elias pointing at the room he (Elias) had come from.

Elias
And don't try anything. First thing you do try is what will result in your death.

He forces the soldier with a sword up against his neck into the old armory. He pushes him forward, and as he turns around Elias keeps the swords at his throat.

Elias
Strip. Your armor is now mine.

Although being quite reluctant, the soldier complied and removed his entire outfit aside from his undies. Also hands Elias his sheathed sword, who places it to the side.

Elias
Hands behind your back.

The soldier complies and Elias uses some rope to tie his hands up and then ties him to an empty sword rack at the back of the room.

He then strips down himself and puts the soldier's own royal armor on. Under cloth and all.

Elias
Now, stay here. And before you wonder if you can scream for help, you're several feet below ground. No one from above will hear you.

He walks to the door and exits, finally putting the helmet on, his sheathed sword remaining on his hip.

He proceeds along the hall and as he rounds the bend he finds a large swirling stairwell, which he scales.

Elias
This is probably the stairway leading to the castle entrance...

As he follows it up for a good couple of minutes, he does in fact find the end. A stonewall with a visible outcropping where the wall moves and a level next to it. He pulls the lever and whirring can be heard as the wall opens, showing the castle hallway on the other side.

Looking either way to see that the hall is empty of suspicion, he steps out into it and looks at the wall for another switch to close it. He soon finds a brick jutting out and presses it inward as the wall closes back up.

Elias
(Thoughts)
Clever escape route.

He turns to walk down the hall in full disguise as a guard.

Camera shows a closeup of his face as he assumes his guise in full. It cuts after.
