Camera cuts to an overhead shot of the throne room and cuts to a closer one to show Haden walking up and taking his seat on the throne, River walking to stand at his side.

Ah, this feels nice.
River
Does it? I wouldn't know.
A guard rushes into the throne room, the large doors bursting open.
Guard
Acting King Holstein! A woman has fled the castle!
Haden
Really? Was she captured?
Guard
Soldiers chased her but lost track thanks to clever maneuvers on her part! According to the staff when her appearance was described, she was a servant named Stacy Baker!
River
(Shocked)
Stace...!
Haden
And to think she was the one responsible... I trusted her.
River looks at Haden.
River
But she was with us when we got news of the killing of the advisor!
Haden
And who's to say she wasn't the one who killed your father? There could be multiple assassins on our hands.
River
(Disbelief)
No! S-She would never do something like this! She's known my family for years!
Haden looks none too pleased.
Haden
(Sigh)
Why does it always have to be so difficult? Guards, take princess River back to her room, please.
River
W-What...?
River has trouble comprehending this change in behavior from Haden. This betrayal of trust.
Haden
(Cold)
And lock her inside.
The guard who brought this news to them is shocked as well.
Guard
Sir, you can't do this!
Haden
And lock him away in the dungeon. We'll put him on trial for treason in due time.
The guards of the throne room walk to both River and the other guard, taking them forcibly to where he instructed.
River
H-How could you?! I trusted you!
They are taken out of the room with Haden not giving River a response. He looks out over the throne room at peace, glad to hold such power.
Camera shows his deceitful face and pans outward to show him in the throne. Camera fades.
