CHAPTER SEVEN

Angel sat nervously in the Great Hall during dinner, her mind preoccupied with thoughts of Luna's odd request. The platinum blonde had insisted they meet by the Black Lake after they finished eating, saying it was very important. This had put Angel on edge.

What if something had happened to Luna? What if she was leaving Hogwarts? What if it involved her father?

These thoughts scattered through Angel's mind like leaves in the wind, disrupting her meal. She fidgeted with the hem of her skirt as she walked alongside Draco and Blaise, her nerves causing jittery movements.

The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the Hogwarts grounds as Luna nervously fidgeted with her fingers, her heart pounding against her chest. She had been carrying a secret, a truth that she had kept hidden away for far too long. But tonight, under the comforting presence of her friends, Luna knew it was time to let that truth shine.

Gathered at the edge of the Black Lake, Angel, Pansy, Daphne, Theo, Blaise, Draco, and Luna stood in silence. Luna's gaze landed on her god sister. The two of them had been through so much together, and though they had always been supportive of each other, Luna still felt nervous. She was especially worried about Angel's reaction; she couldn't imagine her life without the girl.

Luna took a deep breath, her silver-blue eyes scanning the faces of her friends, all her insecurities and hesitations coming to the surface. But it was Angel, with her encouraging look and warm smile, that provided her with support.

Sitting beside each other, their shoulders touching in silent solidarity, Luna and Angel shared a special bond, a connection that transcended mere friendship. Luna knew that Angel would stand by her side no matter what.

"Luna, what's on your mind?" Angel asked gently, her voice a soothing balm to Luna's frayed nerves.

With a shaky exhale, Luna began to speak, her words tumbling out in a rush of emotion. "I... I've been keeping something from all of you. Something important. Something... about myself."

Her friends listened intently, their expressions a mix of curiosity and concern. Luna could feel the weight of their attention, the weight of her own truth pressing down on her shoulders.

"I... I'm gay," Luna confessed, her voice barely above a whisper. "I've known for a while now, but I was afraid to say anything. Afraid of how you would all react."

There was a beat of stunned silence, broken only by the soft sound of Angel's hand reaching out to grasp Luna's own. But then, as if on cue, her friends erupted into a chorus of love and support, their voices mingling together in a symphony of acceptance.

"Luna, we love you no matter what, besides I would never abandon you for something I also am," Pansy said, her usually sharp features softened by genuine affection.

"You're still the same Luna we know and love," Daphne added, a warm smile playing at her lips.

Theo nodded in agreement, his eyes shining with empathy. "We're here for you, Luna. Always."

Blaise and Draco exchanged a meaningful look before stepping forward to envelop Luna in a tight hug, their silent gestures speaking volumes.

But it was Angel who spoke the words that Luna had been longing to hear, her voice filled with love and understanding. "You're not alone, Luna. We're family, and we'll always be here for you, no matter what."

Tears pricked at the corners of Luna's eyes as she leaned into Angel's embrace, feeling the weight of her truth lifting off her shoulders with each passing moment. At that moment, surrounded by the people she loved most in the world, Luna knew that she was exactly where she belonged.

And as they basked in the warm glow of acceptance and understanding, Luna couldn't help but feel grateful for the strength of their friendships, forged in the fires of adversity and tempered by the bonds of love. For in the end, it was their unwavering support that gave Luna the courage to embrace her truth and step boldly into the light.

sorry for the short chapter i thought it would be best if this chapter is entirely about Luna coming out to her friends instead of adding other scenes in with it.
