CHAPTER FOURTEEN
"Would you kill me if I told you that I like your godsister?"
The second the question left Pansy's mouth, she regretted it. Just looking at Angel's face, which held a mix of shock and barely concealed anger, made the brunette shrink back. But she pushed through; she wanted Luna, and if she was ever going to tell her, she needed to confess to Angel first.
Angel was working through all the emotions running through her head, pushing down the anger and protectiveness she felt over her sister, and instead replaced it with a look of shock and confusion. "What?"
Pansy took a deep breath before rushing out an explanation, "Luna, I think I might be in love with her. I know she's practically your sister, but it's bad, like really bad. Every time I look at her, my brain goes blank, and I just want to kiss her."
Angel looked like she was processing and then did something that shocked Pansy—she smiled. "Okay. I know you don't need my permission, but okay."
This time it was Pansy's turn to be confused. "What?"
"I'm not dumb. I see the way you look at her and the way she looks at you. I'm not going to keep two of my best friends from being happy. You both deserve better than that, and if you ever catch me trying to stop you from being happy, you have full permission to slap me."
Pansy smiled. "Thank you."
She turned to walk off but stopped at the sound of her name being called. "Pansy."
"Yeah?" she said, looking back at Angel.
"If you ever hurt her, I will make it my personal mission to hunt you down and torture you until you're begging me to kill you, best friend or not." This scared the living daylights out of Pansy, but she understood. Angel had been through a lot, and Luna was all she had before they met. She would go to the ends of the earth for her.

Daphne, Theo, and Angel were all sitting together in Potions. They had been arguing over who was the dominant one in the relationship, Cissa or Lucy. Theo, who didn't really know the pair that well but knew that Lucius was a Death Eater, vouched for the man, but the girls simply laughed. "Nah, fuck you, man."
"Okay, but hear me out, Lilith! He's literally the Dark Lord's most trusted follower, and you expect me to believe that Narcissa is in charge?" Theo argued back, all three completely ignoring the class, which contrasted with Pansy, Draco, and Blaise in front of them.
"Theo, if you had ever seen them interact, you would know that Lucy is terrified of Cissa. It's probably the Black madness; we all possess it," Angel said, cackling at the end, which completely proved her point.
"Ain't that the truth," Daphne added to their argument, pointing at Angel. "She's batshit crazy."
"Can you shut up?!" A high-pitched and annoying voice broke through the conversation the Slytherins were having as they all turned to the table beside them, which consisted of Ron and Hermione.
Theo scoffed, and Daphne scowled at the sight of them. Angel was the worst. She had been lied to and betrayed by them, so she wasn't taking any shit anymore. "Some of us are trying to listen."
Angel's eye roll was the most dramatic anyone had ever seen as her eyes twitched at Granger's voice. "Granger, Weasley."
That's when the redhead added to the conversation, "Seriously, you Snakes act like you own the school, but you don't. You're just evil little gits."
This caught the attention of the three in front of Angel, Daphne, and Theo. Draco's face drained of all emotion. "What did you just say?"
Angel grabbed his shoulder to calm him down. "It's okay, Dray. I got this."
Ron scoffed, grabbing a hold of Angel's arm harshly. "Sure you do, princess."
Angel's blood ran cold; the word didn't hold the same warmth and feeling it did when Marvolo called her that. She shook her arm, making the boy's grip loosen and fall off her arm. "I thought we had this conversation already, Weasley. Besides, it was never a problem for you two when you did it with Potter, was it? From what I've been told, your whole personality revolved around her. But now she's not here, so I'll repeat: You. Are. Nothing. Without. Her."
Apparently, this pissed off the redhead and smartass, so Granger grabbed hold of Angel's wrist, squeezing it as tightly as she could. When Draco saw this, it riled up his anger again, and he grabbed the girl's hand off his sister, dropping it like it was on fire once it had been removed.
Draco shuddered, wiping his hand furiously on Blaise as if he had been infected by Hermione. "You touch her again, and I will kill you, slowly and painfully. Got it?"
Hermione nodded quietly in fear. She hated Draco, but never had she ever seen him like that, so scary that she genuinely believed the devil had possessed him. But as if she had a thought, Angel turned to the pair and began to speak, "Oh, and Weasley, Granger, I do own Hogwarts as I am Heiress Lilith Peverell Gryffindor Hufflepuff. And you are just some insignificant blood traitor and bitch."
With this, Angel and her five friends exited the class, as it had finished, leaving behind two shell-shocked Gryffindors.

By lunchtime, rumors had spread throughout the entire school about Angel—or rather Lilith—being the heiress of Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. She and her friends sat at the Slytherin table as Angel banged her head on the table in annoyance. "Why did I say that? It was supposed to be a secret!"
Her friends, however, found the whole situation hilarious. They hadn't known that she owned 2/4 of Hogwarts and were even more shocked to discover that Luna owned another 1/4 of the school. Despite this shocking revelation, they all had smirks on their faces.
Theo put a hand on the table to stop the continuous hard impact on Angel's face. Angel seemed to get the hint, instead resting her head on Theo's shoulder in misery. "Come on, Lilith, did you see their faces? It was funny as fuck!"
Angel just groaned again as they continued their lunch. "I hate you all! Minus Luna. Also, by the way, my name is actually Angel Lovegood, Luna and I got married 'cause she's amazing."
This weird info bomb didn't shock anyone besides maybe Luna as they were all used to her just randomly confessing her love to the grk throughout the day. Angel had always done this as it reminded the young girl was loved, something the elder girl often used to think she wasn't.
