Summary: Ashlyn had been having a dream about a little girl since her junior year started and she couldn't pinpoint who it was.

Notes: This is less angst than my other fic but yeah just assume that of course there would be a lot of miscommunication.

"You really are so nice and pretty, Moony," a blurry image of a little girl whispered to her with a grin. "You're prettier," the younger version of Ashlyn remarked, matching the grin of the other girl.

Suddenly Ashlyn's eyes jolted open and she abruptly sat down making her head hurt for the sudden action. "Ouch," Ashlyn muttered as she rubbed her forehead.

"You alright, Ash?" Gina asked from across the room. "Yeah, Gi. I just got a bit dizzy," Ashlyn disclosed as she slowly got up from her bed, blinking a few times.

"That's what you get from suddenly sitting up. Did you have a nightmare or something?" Gina questioned. "No. Just got this blurry dream, it's probably nothing," Ashlyn brushes off.

Gina raised an eyebrow at her and clarified, "You mean the dream about someone calling you Moony? Like the dream you've been having for weeks since the junior year started?"

Ashlyn rolled her eyes and said, "Yes, Gi. That's exactly the dream. But it doesn't mean anything, I don't even know what that was or who it was." "Probably a past trying to crawl back to your life or like a future predicament," Gina joked.

"I doubt that. Anyway, we are going to be late for school, Gi. We should hurry up," Ashlyn blurted out as she headed to their shared bathroom and fixed herself up.

"If it's just a dream and it means nothing then why do you keep deflecting every time, I say something about it!" Gina teased while she fixed herself up in the mirror.

Ashlyn didn't respond and just stared at herself in the mirror. It was true. She had been dreaming about the exact same thing for the past weeks and she didn't know why, and she didn't even know who it was, the image was always blurry.

So every time Ashlyn has that dream she just decides to push it on the back of her mind knowing that nothing will come if she worries about it and that it probably means nothing.

Ashlyn, Carlos, and Gina laughed at their desk during homeroom, waiting for Mr. Mazzara to start his class. "Shouldn't he be here by now?" Ashlyn questioned. "He should be. But maybe there's an emergency?" Gina answered, doubtfully. "Sounds juicy," Carlos jokes.

"Okay, class! I'm sorry for being late, the principal called me," Mr. Mazzara blurted out as soon as he stepped inside the room. "I have an announcement to make," he added.

"What is it?" One of their classmates asked. "You have two new classmates starting tomorrow. They came from California so I'm expecting all of you to make them feel welcome," Mr. Mazzara muttered.

Everyone began to whisper and ask Mr. Mazzara about the transfer students but he didn't budge and just told them to wait until tomorrow and until then they would continue their class.

"New kids after a month the year started kind of unexpected timing," Carlor remarked. "Probably have some issues. I mean I get it being a new kid sometimes sucks," Gina answered, knowing what it feels like to transfer to a different school.

"I'm guessing you'll make them feel welcome?" Carlos questioned half teasing. "I mean why not? You're with me right, Ash?" Gina asked. "Always. I wonder what they look like," Ashlyn answered.
