Just the start of the story.

Kirapika's POV

My friend Leorio owns this little coffee shop down town and offered me to fill out an application, he told me I was suitable for the job. Maybe I am- I love talking to people; just give them some company, you never know what's going on in their lives. Leorio always tells me I'm yapping about anything and everything, but I'm just a good person to listen to. I got the job which isn't a surprise, my shift starts tomorrow morning. I'm not really a morning person but I'll get used to it, drama, waking up early, the smell of coffee, and fresh baked donuts- I can't wait.
I got a text from Leorio telling me to come to the coffee shop, so I responded and told him I'll be there in a bit. I got off my ass and put on a white t-shirt and some comfortable pants, I grabbed my phones and my keys. My dog Fang, greets me by the door and I pat him on the head before putting on my Heydudes.
Out on the road I was minding my business when a red jeep comes out of no where and I almost jammed my car into it, I honked my horn and just kept going in disbelief. People need to watch where they're going.
The coffee shop looked busy as ever, A green haired boy with green eyes and a button nose was serving coffees to a few customers. "Enjoy and have a wonderful day." He had a charming smile, the girls giggled and smiled back before leaving, Leorio comes out of his office and greets me, "Hey Kurapika, it's been a while huh?"

He held out his hand and I shook it, "Yes, it's great to see you again." He brings me over to the counter where the green haired boy was standing, "This is Gon, one of my charming employees." Gon shakes my hand, "It's nice to meet you Kurapika." I nod my head, "To you as well."
"This coffee shop is the busiest on the block, we serve fresh baked goods, and natural grained coffee." Leorio explained out his heart, "And as for our consumers, they give out 5 star ratings." Leorio went on, the bell chimed and the most beautiful girl walked in, me, Leorio, and Gon all turned our heads to her as she came up to the counter, it was like she was walking in slow motion, she had very gorgeous eyes.
"Ah Y/n, my most favorite costumer, how's it going?" Leorio speaks out, "It's going good, thanks for asking." Y/n doesn't say what she wanted Gon just made it, "Thank you Gon." Y/n smiled brightly before taking a sip of her coffee, her eyes locked on mine, "You must be the new employee, nice to meet you." I stare at her with a blank expression then shook her hand, "Yes, Kurapika is my name." She giggles a little, "I know." Y/n has a pretty laugh. "Well I must go now, have a good day Mr. Leorio." She waves him goodbye and I couldn't help myself but stare at her ad she walked out. "She's one of our star customers, she's been getting coffee here ever since it opened." Leorio explained, "She's absolutely stunning." I let out, Leorio chuckled, "Yes she's quite a dime, isn't she?"

Leorio showed me more around the coffee shop while Gon helped me figure out the machines and how to work them, I'll definitely be ready to work here tomorrow especially if I see that beautiful girl again- Y/n.....such a pretty name.
