<Choi Palace>
It was late midnight, Seungcheol and Jeonghan woke up with a jolt as they heard the alarms of emergency.
They looked at each other worriedly as they quickly got up and rushed towards the door to open it.
"What the-" Jeonghan gasped as both of them saw enemies flooding in from both the sides of the hallway while the guards got ready to fight.
"How did they get in?" Seungcheol frowned.
"We'll think about it later." Jeonghan stated.
Both the kings summoned their sword, one being blazing red while other glowing icy blue. They nodded to each other after which they recited their respective spells.
Half of the hallway was covered with fire while half of it had destructive ice chunks. Due to the spells, they would cause harm only to the enemy troops.
Yeah, fire and ice must be dangerous when they are against each other. But together, they were extremely destructive.
Seungcheol sprinted forward, his sword slicing every body coming amidst his way.
It was when a group of troops surrounded him in a circle.
"Are you all kids or something? Or you really don't know me?" Seungcheol raised a brow as he recited a small spell to which all of them got executed with ice chunks. Only one of them remained alive.
Seungcheol approached him with a dominating gaze as he grabbed his neck, "You're still alive for a reason. Who has sent you all?"
The man remained silent.
"You're going to die either way, I hope you want a peaceful death." Seungcheol growled while slamming him against the wall, "WHO. HAS. SENT. YOU?"
Seungcheol tore the cloth that was covering his mouth. He frowned when he saw that the man's lips were stuck with each other. He checked the other men who were lying dead and found that they were in the same condition.
"So you all are just some useless puppets huh?" Seungcheol got back to the only alive man.
It was true, they couldn't speak even if they wanted to.
"Then die." He pierced his sword against the man's stomach, throwing him aside.
Seungcheol walked forward, clearing his way by smashing all the enemies that came into sight.
As he descended downstairs, he met Seokmin who was also busy executing the enemies.
"Mom dad?" Seungcheol asked.
"They're fine, don't worry." Seokmin nodded.
"Let's go." Seungcheol stated after which Dino joined them, his sword and hands were covered with blood as well.
The three brothers talked for a while to make a strategy after which they separated their ways to fight.
Meanwhile, Jeonghan met Joshua on his way who had just ignited a destructive fire to vanish most of the troops.
"Mingyu, Hoshi, Jun and Seungkwan have already arrived, the rest will be coming soon." Joshua informed, "And about these bastards, they aren't spilling a single thing."
"They can't speak." Jeonghan stated, "It's all a planned invasion."
"But who would do that, all of a sudden?" Joshua retorted.
"We'll discuss it later." Jeonghan hurriedly nodded as both of them also separated their ways.
The defence went by, with the strong arsenal of the Choi Empire. All of the enemies were almost swiped off and the force was dying.
