<Serenity Lake>
Jeonghan was taking a walk around the lake as Seungcheol was busy with some work. He took this chance to clear his head and there wasn't any place better than this lake.
He could have even practiced his sword there but he knew, if his powers would even destroy the life of a single leaf, it would become a serious offense.
Harming anyone or anything at the Serenity Lake was a crime, a huge crime.
Jeonghan continued his walk, he was starting to feel better.
"Oh my, I didn't expect to catch a huge fish here."
Jeonghan halted in his way to turn around, "Miss Park? What are you doing here?"
"Kim Hari. How many times do I have to tell you all this?" Hari scoffed, "Now that you're here, I should do your justice right here."
"What?" Jeonghan frowned, "And first of all, how did you enter this place?!"
"The mark on me might not work on Seungcheol anymore but it still works for me." Hari chuckled.
"What are your intentions, Kim Hari?" Jeonghan glared at her.
"Nothing much." Hari grinned, "I want this kingdom, that's it."
"Stop dreaming." Jeonghan chuckled mockingly, "Even a marble of this kingdom won't be under you."
"Ah, great confidence." Hari didn't waver, "But underestimate me all you want."
"So Seungcheol wasn't wrong when he said you ain't innocent." Jeonghan recalled.
"Seungcheol. Huh!" Hari sighed, "I don't know how he became like this. How could he escape my mark like that?"
"Escape your mark?"
"Yeah. Since, you're already dying, you deserve to know the truth." Hari chuckled, "That mark isn't the soulmate mark, it was my spell, to keep him wrapped around my finger. But anyways, it won't work anymore."
Jeonghan's jaw dropped. His mind went blank at the abrupt revelation. So all along, it was just a spell that was ruining everything for Seungcheol?
Of course it was not only the spell, it was Seungcheol's will too but still. The spell was playing its part.
And in the haze, he didn't realise that he was surrounded be a plenty of masked men.
"Hello? Your highness?" Hari sarcastically called, "Won't fight?"
"I-" Jeonghan halted that harming people at the Serenity Lake only meant one thing.
Exile at an extreme place for at least three days.
"Leave this place, right now!" Jeonghan growled, "This place is not for blood-shed."
"Exactly." Hari chuckled. She snapped as a few men held Jeonghan in place.
"You really think you can harm me like this?" Jeonghan laughed wickedly, "Never. Not even in your dreams."
"Sure, let's test your confidence." Hari clapped twice.
Soon enough, a few punches and kicks landed all over him as he knelt down on the ground. He started laughing, "That's all you've got? Weak bastards?! You think you can hurt Yoon Jeonghan with your pretty little fists?"
"That was just some fun. There's no point in hurting you anyways." Hari snapped her fingers as the string around Jeonghan's fists glowed, "But that, your highness- costs the life of this kingdom's emperor."
