Caspian POV
Today is Adrien's birthday and I've been working on a piece that I planned to give to him as a token of our friendship.
"Almost done. Just need a few more finishing touches." I said as I added more paint to my piece.
"Caspian! Are you ready!?" Uncle Hector asked.
"Coming!" I called as I left it to dry.
I'll pick it up later. I thought to myself.
Timeskip (After Class)
"I'll drop it off later on today." My uncle said to me on the phone.
"Thanks, Uncle." I replied.
"Say, a girl left a note saying thank you for lending her your jacket. Said that you gave it to her. Is my Casanova dating a girl already?~" He teased.
"Uncle, please. You know I'm in love with Marinette." I sighed.
Or am I?
"Seriously. Has your dad always been such a downer. Doesn't he remember what it's like to wanna party?" I heard Nino whine.
"Sorry, Uncle. Gotta run." I hung up.
" No. I'm sure he was a downer back then, too. At least I tried." Adrien said with a sigh.
"If your dad doesn't want you to celebrate your birthday like everyone else should, then you should tell him overwise." Alya said.
"It's your B-Day, man. Convince him." Ryder urged him.
"What's a birthday without a party?" Melissa added.
"Hey, guys. What's up?" I asked.
"Ah, the man of the hour! Everything's going well. But, Adrien's dad won't let her have a birthday party." Nino replied.
"Really? How come?" I asked.
"No clue." He replied with a shrug.
As the group was chatting, I noticed that Marinette was about to give Adrien a gift until she tripped over. Luckly, Adrien managed to catch her in time.
"Thanks, Adrien." She said while she was getting flustered.
"No problem, Marinette." Adrien replied.
I got a bad feeling about this. I thought.
"I...I wanted to gift you a make. I mean, gift you a give I made, I mean..." She stuttered.
"Oh boy." I sighed.
Suddenly, Chloe pushed Marinette out of the way while Isabella shrugged apologetically at me.
"Did you get my gift, Adrikins? Chloe asked.
"Yeah. It was good." Adrien replied.
"Happy birthday, Adrien." Isabella said, handing him a present.
"Thank you, Isabella." He replied with a smile.
I managed to help up Marinette, who was seething with rage.
"That reminds me. Happy birthday, Adrien." Melissa handed him a package.
"Thanks, Melissa." Adrien accepts the gift.
"Gotta go. Photoshoot." Adrien waves to his friends as he gets into the limo and leaves, much to Marinette's dismay.
Chloé smirks as she looks over at the defeated Marinette, "See, Dupain-Cheng? At least Isa can give a boy a present like a normal human being." she walks off with a small hum as she makes her way over to Sabrina.
