A girl, Sarah, was really popular. She was pretty, rich, and a typical cheerleader going out with the school's jock. However, she had a secret that she never told anyone, not even her parents.

The thing is, she was really insecure about her legs, which were too fat, looking at her slim and curvy body. She hated her legs.

She envied a nerd, Michelle, for having such good legs, and that's why she always bully her. One night, she was fixing her pompom when a gust of wind brought a paper to her lap. It was yellowed with age and the writing on it was scrawly, but she managed to read it.

Hi Sarah, I'm X, and I know about your secret. Let's face it, you want to change it, right? I'll let you change it. Burn this paper with a candle in a bowl. And while it's burning, drop a drop of your blood into the bowl while saying whose legs do you want. Then we'll see tomorrow.

But it comes with a price, you have to give me an offering. Be it gold, money, or even flesh and bones, anything worth the new legs. You have till midnight to decide before this offer becomes invalid.

It was a strange letter and it seemed suspicious, but the offer was tempting. Besides, she's rich as hell, she could give a 1000 dollars or two to this man. Yeah, she definitely could. It was 10 pm, meaning she only got 2 hours before the offer becomes invalid, and she gotta act now.

Creeping into the kitchen quietly, she took a bowl, a candle, and a needle. Back in her room, she did as told, all the while chanting, "Michelle's legs, Michelle's legs." over and over again.

That night, she went to a dreamless sleep.

The next morning, she felt refreshed, but when she got up from her bed, she quickly fell down to the floor. She looked at her legs. Her legs were now very slim and perfect, except that it have some bruises here and there. She realized that she needed time to get accustomed to her new legs, and that the bruises were her own fault.

After 15 minutes of trying her new legs, she finally got the hang of it. She went to school happy that day.

In school, Michelle was seen wearing baggy pants where in the past she wore tight jeans. Sarah smirked. She passed by her, flipping her hair and lifting her chin high, making Michelle drown in jealousy and hatred.

At the cafeteria, Sarah passed by Rowena, her best friend. She glanced at her best friend's legs. They were definitely better than Michelle's, and no bruises either! That night, she performed the ritual again, this time chanting, "Rowena's legs, Rowena's legs."

The next morning, Rowena couldn't attend the cheerleader practice because of 'mysterious bruises' that appeared overnight. Sarah was pleased. But she saw a pretty girl from Victoria Secrets and immediately got drown in jealousy. She performed the ritual over and over again, until one day she became so pale. "What's wrong?" Rowena asked. "I don't know, I'm so tired." Sarah replied.

Back home, her dad was furious. Her allowance was disappearing really fast and she won't tell him where it went. So he grounded her. But she didn't gave up. Pushed by the desire of having the nicest legs in the world, she performed it again and again, this time giving up her necklace, bracelets, etc.

One night, after she performed a ritual, she was so tired she fell asleep. She forgot to blow out the candle, and it caused a fire. She was burned badly.

When she woke up in the hospital, she was covered in bandages. She waited patiently till she could open them, and when she did, she screamed her lungs out. She was hideous. Not only were her legs were now only stumps, her whole body was covered in bruises and burnt marks and her face was the most hideous of all. She wanted a plastic surgery, but the fire burnt most of her father's wealth that he couldn't afford it.

When she was well enough to go back to school with a wheelchair, she wore black hoodies and jeans with caps, hoping to be invisible. She then saw her friends and even Michelle, became prettier than before, with curvy bodies and smooth silky skin. There was this one girl who she always made fun of because of her bad skin, now her skin was so smooth. She realized what happened. They all had made a deal with X too.

"Sarah!" Rowena recognized her and approached her with a wide smile. "Ew! What happened to your face?! Anyway, I don't think what we did to you is enough for what you did to us." Rowena whispered the last part after yelling the first part. Sarah was horrified. So all this time, they all knew?!

That night, X completed so many deals involving her that she couldn't handle the pain anymore. She killed herself by stabbing her own heart. When she was dying, the picture of her friend all laughing at her and sneered at her entered her mind and became the last thing she saw.

Her death was on the news, saying that she took too many sleeping pills and died because of pill overdose. X was all in her dreams...
