Vampire Tree

Around 11 P.M, a singer called Hanako walked into a subway station. She's after a midnight concert and now was heading home. She sat down and waited for the train.

She saw a man dressed in a yellow one piece with its hoodie up and a parcel walked in a strange way, as if he's drunk. He put the parcel down near a post and sit on it and snored.

"What a strange way to sleep!" Hanako thought.

The subway arrived and Hanako quickly got in, followed by the half asleep man. There was no one in the subway and Hanako slumped herself onto one of the seats, exhausted.

The man fall face first onto the floor and snored. Then he sleepwalked towards the freaked out Hanako and sat beside her. She tried to edge away but the man opened his eyes.

"Haa..." The man's breath was terrible and Hanako fall unconscious.

When she woke up, she found a red sprout planted on her arm. She was terrified and quickly went to the doctor the next day.

"It's a vampire tree that lives on blood. Your blood." The doctor said.

"Well, what are you waiting for? Take it out! I can't pull it, it hurts to much!" Hanako said.

"We must amputate the arm from the shoulder to take it out, as it's root are long."

"What?! The whole arm?! I'm not ready! Give me a year to think about it!"

"It's up to you but it sucks 100 cc of your blood every day and it's beyond what your body can produce. If it goes on, we'll have to transfuse 500 cc of blood to you every day."

"Can't you do anything else?"

"No, that's the only way. Besides, in no time it's roots will take over all of your body."

Hanako went home sad.

10 days went by and the roots have already taken 2/3 part of her body. One day as she was singing, she suddenly collapsed as the lights went out.

When the lights was on again, they found Hanako in the form of a red tree.
