Today, it started raining. Hard. The gray skies put everyone in a gloomy mood. At least Maddie was done with ISS and was still able to come to the dance in a few days.

"Aw, man! There goes our recess!" Hannah said disappointedly. They were all sitting together at lunch while staring out the multitude of windows on the right side of the lunchroom.

"I meeeeaaan... we still have indoor recess..." Maddie said, trying to convince Hannah that there was still hope, continuing to eat her peanut butter and chocolate sandwich.

"Okay. I guess you're right." Hannah said, poking at her roasted vegetables with her fork.

"C'mon Hannah. You have to eat something!" Peyton said, offering her a bag of Cheezy Puffs.

Paige snatched the bag out of her hands and started eating the puffs. "Hey!" Peyton yelled, but Paige laughed and stuffed her face with more puffs.

"It's fine... I'm not hungry anyways, hehe..." Hannah said nervously, laughing a tiny bit.

"I hope it doesn't keep raining for too long. I want to be able to go outside again." Maddie said, zipping up her lunchbox, ready to leave.

The next day, the rain kept pouring down.

"What did you say?" Paige asks jokingly, nodding to the pouring rain outside.

"Well it can't get-" *BOOM!*

A huge flash of lightning strikes across the sky, rumbling the floors. EVERYONE in the cafeteria screamed when the lights flashed and suddenly turned off without a warning, enabling the emergency lights to illuminate the room bright enough to see their way around. Just to their luck, the tornado sirens went off, causing everyone to stir in a bigger panic.

"Everyone, go to the bathrooms!" The lunch manager yelled as kids started running out, pushing and shoving each other.

Even though the bathroom walls were made completely out of brick, we could still hear the crashing of trees and other debris falling and spinning everywhere. The ground started shaking harder and harder. The girl grabbed the heads tighter and then it started calming down: The crashing stopped and the shaking died down.

I heard someone walk out the bathroom door and yell "Yep. All clear." It was the lunch manager. Everyone calmly walked out, but Hannah stood in her spot in the corner, not moving. At this point, the lights came back on and everyone was on their way upstairs.

"Hannah, you can move now," Maddie said confused, still holding the door open.

Hannah continued to sit there shivering, bringing her knees to her chest and grabbing them tightly.

"O-oh. I get it. You've never faced tornadoes in Pennsylvania right? My parents said we got them all the time in Indiana, but I was only three. Of course, I wouldn't have remembered." Maddie claimed, closing the door and heading over to Hannah.

"What?! N-no! I ALWAYS had to deal with tornadoes but... not ones like this one! We almost got hit, What if someone got hurt?" She asked, looking up at her.

"I'm sure everything is fine. Besides, the superheroes will fix everything!" Maddie said, putting her hand on Hannah's shoulder, frowning at the fact that she was no longer Lady Beetle, even though she couldn't tell Hannah.

"Listen, I don't know how to tell anyone this even though it's kinda obvious but... but..." Hannah kept pausing, not able to get her words out. "I can't take it anymore! I always fumble at the mouth when it comes to this! I can't even tell my parents! I'm such a disaster and no matter how hard I try I can't fix it!" Hannah wailed, pulling her head down in her lap.
