Everyone was backstage waiting for the show to start. The four band members were sitting around a table talking about the upcoming tour while Clara was reading her set list through for the hundredth time in the last hour.

Drive-by- Clarabella Middleton
Somebody Told Me- The Killers
Creep- Radiohead
Beetlebum- Blur
Last Nite- The Strokes
Summer Rain- Clarabella Middleton

She has never been this nervous for a gig but it was the fact that it was a private concert which people were invited to and she was opening for her friends who were proper famous.

Also it was her first time singing her own songs in front of people except Alex and her sister.

Clarabella picked up her electric guitar and started strumming some chords to warm up her fingers. Alex turned to look at her and noticed her nervousness.

"Hey, you'll be amazing as always love. No need to worry. You should relax." Alex reassured her.
She gave him a grateful smile and a nod, putting down her guitar.

Derek walked into the room a few minutes later.
"Clarabella, you're up in ten. Get everything ready."
Clara frantically got up and grabbed everything she needed and Alex told her to sit down and relax since everything was set up for her on stage and she didn't have to do it herself.

"Clara can I see your set list?" Matt asked curiously.

"Um, yeah sure." She said while handing it to him.

Matts head snapped up at Clara and his eyebrows were knitted together.
"You're singing two of your own songs tonight?"

"Yeah, I didn't really want to but I don't really have a say in what I sing." Clara laughed it off but was slightly annoyed at the fact she couldn't choose whatever she wanted to sing.

"How come we didn't hear it first?" Jamie asked in a tone that sounded like a child that missed out on going to the park.

"Well, you'll hear them tonight." Clara laughed.

"Yeah, well I wanted to be the first!" Jamie whined.

"Clarabella, you're on now!" Someone called from the side.
"Fuck." Clara cursed under her breath.
The boys stood up to give Clara a hug and wish her good luck.

Alex brought her into a tight but comforting hug and spoke right next to her ear, "You are going to smash it like always love, you're incredible."

Clarabella didn't know what it was but in that moment with Alex's hot breath on her neck and his clear words being spoken right next to her ear made her feel something she has never felt before. She brushed it off since she was just nervous to go on stage in front of hundreds of people.

As she began walking away about to go on stage, Nick shouted over. "I hope you trip and fall on your face!" He laughed.

Clara slowly turned around with wide eyes plastered on a frightened face and Alex dug his elbow into the middle of Nicks stomach which led to a deflated sound coming from Nick's mouth and gave Clarabella a smile and a thumbs up to Alex.

Clara giggled and started walking onto the stage as a big applause came from the people below and above her.

Her nerves came at her when she saw the crowd of people that were watching her.
It's going to be alright.
She thought to herself.

"Hello everyone, I am Clarabella Middleton. I hope you are all having an amazing night. I'm going to open and start this show with one of my own songs so I hope you all enjoy it." Clara said while swinging her electric guitar over her shoulder, taking a glance back offstage only to see the four boys standing watching her which settled her nerves.
