When they finally lost the paparazzi and reached Alex's house, they were exhausted as they had to go the long way round because they didn't want people to know where Alex lived.

They were sprawled out on Alex's settee. Clara sat up and stared at Alex.
"Is that what they are like all the time to you?" She asked sympathetically.

"What d'ya mean?" He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

"The paparazzi, asking really personal questions."

"Ah, ya get used to it." He smiled. "I have to get ready for me interview now so you can do whatever ya want while I'm upstairs."
Clarabella nodded.

A half an hour later, Alex came down the stairs in a polo top and jeans.
Clara looked at him and tried not to laugh.
"Alex, put your collar down please. You look like an idiot. Why are you trying to be cool?" Clarabella laughed.

"Oi, I don't try to be cool, that's just what makes me cool!" He winked and chuckled. "Aight, let's get you home now."

On the way back to her house, Clara's phone starts ringing.
"Hello?" She answered. "Really? Tomorrow morning? Um, yeah I'm free." She looked confused and Alex looked at her and tilted his head.

Once she hung up the phone, Alex asked what that was about.
"Well, apparently I have my first interview tomorrow." She said, but she didn't seem excited.

"That's good! Why don't you look happy?" He asked.

"I dunno, feels a bit early. Like I haven't actually published any songs yet, I've just sang them live." She worried.

"Don't stress it love, I'm sure they saw how good you were and wanted to catch ya before you're famous." He smiled.
She returned his smile but the thought didn't leave her head.

Once Alex came to a stop outside Clara's house he turned to her before she left.
"Look, Clara. Can we please talk about last night?" Alex spoke.

"I want to, but I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. Can we go for lunch tomorrow and maybe talk about it then?" She explained.

Alex looked a bit worried, "Yeah, course love."

"Bye Al, good luck in your interview."

"You too Clara."

                              *************

It was the next morning, Clara had been woken up by the annoying sound of her blaring alarm. She turned it off and started to get ready for her interview. She didn't know why but she had a really bad feeling about it, but she blamed it on nerves.

She didn't hear from Alex since last night which was odd but just thought he might have been busy or something.

She got on her motorcycle and drove forty five minutes to her interview. When she arrived, Derek was waiting for her.

The second she walked up to him he spoke, "I'm just here to make sure everything runs smoothly and you don't say something that you're not supposed to."
She just nodded in response.

She walked into the room and shook hands with the interviewer, "Lovely to meet you Clarabella. I'm Leanna and I will be interviewing you today."

"Lovely to meet you too, Leanna. I'm so exited to be here." She lied, though the friendly introduction from the interviewer calmed her down a bit.

"Right, we are just going to get all of the equipment set up and we will start the interview as soon as possible." She smiled.

Clarabella was sat across the table from the interviewer, with headphones resting on both of their heads and a large microphone infront of their mouths. Derek and some other people were watching from the glass box outside of the interview room and out of view from the cameras.
