Clara caught on after a few seconds that this was the contractor that Alex mentioned.

"Um, yeah sure." She smiles getting up from her seat once again.

Her and the man walked outside to converse without any interruptions or distractions.
Once Clarabella stepped outside goosebumps raised on her skin as a result of the British cold night air.

"So, I assume the Arctic Monkeys told you why I was here tonight." The man spoke.

"Yeah of course, didn't mention a name though." She smiled.

"Derek," he said. "Now, will we cut the chit-chat and get right to business?" He came off a bit rude but Clara understood that he was a business man and wasn't here to be mates.

"Yes, sorry." Clarabella apologised. Feeling unnecessarily embarrassed.

"I really liked how you acted up on stage, you have a nice energy and create a good atmosphere to say the least. Do you do any singing or voice lessons?" Derek asked.

"Thank you so much, and no, I've never had any lessons." Clarabella felt excited talking about singing, she always had. Music was probably her favourite thing in life, she wouldn't know what she would do without it. It was always there for her no matter what and whatever the circumstances were, she could always listen to music. It was something that made her feel safe and heard.

"We definitely have to get you signed up for some type of lessons anyways but that's all sorted." Derek said, writing in a notepad as he talked.

That sentence sort of deflated her confidence.
She knew she wasn't the best singer, but someone suggesting that she needed singing lessons made her rethink if she was any good.

They probably just think it would be better for me and most singers probably have lessons. Stop being dramatic.

"Um, yeah sure, but how much will that cost?" She asks, worried about money since she didn't have a lot.

"It's on the company as long as you sign and follow the contract." Derek said, still not looking up from his notebook.

"Oh wow, that's amazing. So, I got the contract?" She asked hopefully. She didn't really care that much about the contract until this moment.

"Yes, you got the contract. You can come down to the office on Sunday to read and sign it. We will also tell you more details about it and give you a proper run through of it then."  He was slightly annoyed having to state the obvious.

"Oh my God! Thank you so much!" Clara excitedly hugged Derek, he stepped back from her grip with a sour look on his face and Clara apologised awkwardly for being over excited.

Clara rushed back into the building the second Derek left.
"Guys! I got it, I got the contract!" Clara said running up to Matt, Nick, Alex and Jamie.

"Holy shit that's amazing Clara!" Matt exclaimed.
They all jumped up and gave Clarabella a big hug.

"I'm over the moon for ya, love." Alex smiled while holding the small of her back, directing her back to her seat.

"Drinks on me then to celebrate!" Nick said.

Jamie shouted with excitement. "Free drinks, yippee!" Which led to stomach laughter from the rest of the group.

Nick ordered a drink for everyone and many shots of vodka to the table.

When the drinks arrived, Katie, Jamie's girlfriend, was also arrived. Clarabella and her clicked immediately.

"Let's play a game, ey?" Jamie said with his arm slung around Katie's shoulder.

"Like what?" Clarabella asks.

"How about two truths and a lie?" Katie requests.

"Ooh, that's a good one." Matt chimes in.

They all agree to playing and Jamie starts.

"Aight, one, the Wizard of Oz is my favourite movie of all time. Two, I'm actually a better singer than Al. And three, um, I hate soccer." Jamie was obviously shit at this game.

Before anyone else could have a chance to speak, Alex shouts. "Number two! Number two's the lie!"

"Al, ye know I play soccer ya prick." Jamie furrowed his eyebrows and shook his head at Alex's 'stupid' answer.

"Ya can't lie twice!" Nick joins in, laughing hysterically.

"Oi, watch it you!" Jamie responds to Nick.

"Why is nobody questioning the 'Wizard of Oz' one?" Katie laughed.

"Because it's Jamie." Alex answered, also giving a slight laugh.

Clarabella couldn't help but analyse every detail when Alex laughed. She didn't know why but she admired him so much.

"Okay, Alex drink up." Matt says to finish the bickering.
Alex was about to protest but he couldn't turn down a drink so he took the shot anyway.

It was now Alex's turn. "Eh, I don't really know. Okay, one, me granny took me to Disney land when I were eight. Two, I think 'Take That' is a bunch of ballocks . And three, Jamie is a good singer."

"Well, we might as well just not play if ye two are gonna be acting like this the whole game, you can't make it obvious!" Clara laughs.
"But it's the second one." She jokes, knowing he meant the third one but wanting to piss Alex off.

His head snaps when he realised what she said which led to the table bursting into another uncontrollable fit of laughter and she received a fist bump from Jamie.

The game went around a few times until everyone was well drunk and there was only one shot left, the last turn was Clarabella's.

The game has gotten more and more intense as it went on the more intoxicated everyone got.
"Clara make it good babe, it's your last one and you've been playing pretty safe this whole time." Katie says, now lying on Clara's lap since they have gotten extremely close through the night.

"Fine, but it's not my fault you told everyone your dirty little secrets" Clara gives in with a laugh, "Okay, One, I've never had a boyfriend. Two, a sixty-something year old man tried to go down on me after a show once. Three, I've never written an original song before."
This made the people at the table look around at each other, not having a clue what the right answer was.

"Um, one? I think." Matt says.

"I want two to be the lie but there is no way you've never had a boyfriend so I'm saying one." Alex guesses.

"I 'aven't a fuckin clue." Jamie said quizzically.

"Go on then, tell us." Nick said, looking extremely intrigued.

"It's three. Three is the lie." Clara laughed.

A chorus of "what!"s came from the table and they all started asking questions about each one of the things she said.

They were all mostly shocked about Clarabella not having a boyfriend before, mostly because she is not stereotypical pretty. She is ethereally beautiful. She has long, straight, brown hair that falls down to her waist, piercing green eyes, stunningly pale skin, naturally rosy cheeks and lips, her lips were full with a dominant cupids bow, she has perfectly thick and squared eyebrows and an upturned button nose. She looked way older than a seventeen year old, which helped her get away with many things.

"You all have to take a drink." Clara said.

"But there is only one left." Alex said.

"Then we can order more, ya git" Clarabella called over a bartender to take another order of shots.
