Delilah looked at the meter on the taxi once they arrived outside of the venue that was blaring with music and overflowing with people. She gave a wide eyed look to Clara once she saw the price on the taxi meter since it was only a forty minute drive.

The taxi driver turned around to the two well dressed girls that were sitting on the back seats of his car.
"That will be fifty two pounds ninety, please." He spoke.
Clara handed him the money while Delilah shuffled through her purse.

"Oi, I would've payed that!" Delilah hushed once they got out of the taxi.

"Too late now! Anyways, I dragged you to this party so it's the least I can do." Clarabella responded.

"You know I would never turn down a party Clar." Delilah giggled.

Once they stepped inside the buzzing venue, Clarabella knew almost no one. She recognised a few familiar faces, not knowing where she had seen them in the past.

"Derek messaged me about twenty minutes ago saying that he was here but I can't see him." Clara spoke loudly over the music. She grabbed her sister's hand and dragged her through the room.

They eventually found a bar and they ordered two drinks. Clara looked around the venue to see if she could figure out who she was here for, but the strange posters of a house with colourful windows left her still confused.

She looked around the big room from the stool that she was sitting on to see if she could see anyone that she genuinely knew. It took a few minutes but she caught a face that she thought she recognised, but the boy turned around before she could remember.

"So, have you figured out who we are here for? I hope they are a good band because I don't wanna be listening to wank songs all night." Delilah sipped on the straw.

"Not yet, I'm trying to scan the room to see people I would know but there aren't many and it's not leading me to who I want it to. I hope they are good too because Derek will probably be talking about the band until the next album release party we go to." Clara replied, still scanning the room.

When the familiar face that she thought she recognised earlier turned back around, Clara saw Nick.

A rush of joy and relief filled Clara when she realised that someone she loved was here. Then she was filled with worry when she saw the rest of his band join him and many people surrounding them, handing them drinks and giving them pats on their backs.

Surely I am not here for them, Derek would've told me if it's for them. I haven't seen them in ages, oh no.

"Two seconds." She said to her sister before she walked towards the posters to get a proper look at them and make sure that she isn't attending the Arctic Monkeys album release party without knowing. Then she saw the words "Arctic Monkeys" on the top left corner of the poster, she sighed from annoyance.

She ran back to her sister and told her that she needed to get a stronger drink.
"What? Why?" Delilah asked curiously.
"This party is for the Arctic Monkeys!" She said, over enthusiastically to be dramatic.

"So? I thought you were all mates?" Delilah was only more confused.
"We are, I think. I just haven't saw any of them in nearly a year and I didn't bring a present or even know that they were releasing an album! That's really bad." Clara stressed.

"I'm sure they won't even realise you're here. Look at how many people are here!" Delilah endured. She was right, there was definitely over a thousand people there.

As Clara was rushing towards the bar trying to hide from the band, pulling her sister behind her, she ran into someone that she really didn't want to while looking back at her sister to make sure she was alright.
