I honestly forgot how Pedri looked without his beard. But when I saw him in the room with the other dicks and Kev and Pablo, I just got immediate flashbacks to the first time we kissed when he still hadn't grown it.

I love his beard. I really do. But him without it, he reminds me of our first night. Something I will treasure forever.

And I'm hoping tonight will be our second real night.

Although, I have to stop thinking about that now and focus on the wedding. I'm waiting for our turn to walk in, with one of the groomsmen by my side. Man, do I hate these guys.

At least I have the least annoying one by my side. He's a good person when he wants to be. The rest of the time, he's a pussy with no personality who just follows Ziad around.

Couldn't care less about that now though, my big sister is getting married. We hear the first processional song — being sang by Isabel González, pop-star girl of the decade herself — begin, and it's time to make our entrance.

Walking in, we're the first couple, I kind of feel like on a catwalk, which I haven't been on in a while. I don't do my model walk though, I know better than that. It's just a familiar feeling.

I search for Pedri as I get to where he's supposed to be seated. Spotting him next to Pablo, I smile softly. He returns it.

Something's wrong. It's the same smile as always but I can literally feel something wrong with him. I tilt my head back a little and see Pablo whispering something in his ear as he keeps looking at me.

He notices me looking back for a second and his smile gets even wider. I'm probably wrong. Nothing's wrong. I just create stuff in my head.

I look in front again before taking three steps up and taking my separate way from the best man's and to my sister's side.

I stand at the altar, waiting for the rest of the wedding party to make their entry. And then, the music changes. Nour comes in, walking down the aisle, my dad by her side as he pretends not to cry.

She looks breathtaking in her elegant white gown, her smile radiant and her eyes sparkling with joy. Everyone stands up when she enters, a lot of us emotional.

As she reaches the altar, dad gives her a kiss before letting her take her place beside her soon-to-be husband.

They exchange loving glances, as they're both trying not to cry as much as the rest of us and Kevin mumbles something I can't really hear but read on his lips that is 'You're so beautiful.' I take a deep breath, trying to hold back tears of joy as the ceremony begins.

The priest's words wash over me, but my mind is elsewhere, I hate it so much that Mia isn't here to witness this.

Mia and Nour had always started planning Nour's wedding ever since we were kids. Maisie and I would rather play.

Mia was Nour's wedding planner in a way. Ever since she met Kevin, the two of them have been planning this day.

A day that Mia isn't here to witness. I try to keep the thoughts away. Focusing on my big sister. She's no longer just my sister, she's someone's wife now.

I listen intently as they start exchanging their vows, their voices filled with emotion. They promise to love and cherish each other for eternity, and I know they mean every word.

They slide the rings onto each other's fingers, sealing their commitment.

Finally, the moment arrives. The priest pronounces them husband and wife and Kevin leans in to kiss his bride.
