LUST ★ CHAPTER SIXTEEN.

        All night long, you did your best to avoid the Straw Hats, and you succeeded remarkably well.

After parting ways with Ace, you unexpectedly encountered some other lifelong friends you have made throughout the years. Among them were Trafalgar Law, Vivi, and even Momonosuke.

It's safe to say that you're not as drunk off your ass as koala who clung to Sabo all night.

As you held a glass of wine in your hand, you observed the lively interactions taking place around you. Suddenly, the tranquility was shattered by the chilling sound of gunshots and piercing screams echoing through the air.

"Y/n !" You heard your name called out, and as you turned slightly, you watched as Ace tossed a shotgun in your direction, and you barely caught it.

"What am I supposed to do with this?" you shouted. "Defend yourself!" he shouted back. You gazed forward as bodies fell to the ground. Sure, you had held guns before, but you had never intentionally shot someone with one.

You instinctively bite down on your inner cheek as your eyes swiftly scan the room. Suddenly, your yes widen in sheer disbelief as a man locks his target on Luffy, pointing his gun straight at him.

In a moment of instinct, you raised the gun and shot him in the head, overwhelmed with disbelief as you muttered, "holy shit , i just killed a guy!" exhaling deeply as your eyes met Luffy's.

He raised his gun and locked eyes with you, taking careful aim in your direction. With a Swift pull of the trigger, he eliminated a man who stood behind you.

As you observed in silence, he approached you, still focused on targeting his enemies. Suddenly, he pulled you close, embracing you tightly while encircling your waist with his free hand.

You sought refuge in his embrace, burying your face into his chest as the sounds of gunshots gradually faded away."Y/N!" Ace's voice pierced  through the room, grabbing your attention.

As you slowly raise your head, you are confronted with a sight of bodies strewn across the floor, their expensive outfits now marred by the stain of blood. Meanwhile, Nami stands in the midst of it all, throwing a fit that echoes her distress.

"ace" you said softly as he rushed over "shit , i shouldn't have forced you to come if i knew something like this would happen" he rambled causing you to chuckle

"It's fine, Ace. Remember, you gave me this gun," you reassured, holding up the weapon. Ace pursed his lips slightly before exchanging a glance with Luffy, who silently observed your interaction. "Thanks,Luffy. I don't know what I'd do if she had gotten hurt," Ace said with a grateful smile.

Luffy nodded slightly and hesitantly released his grip on you. He turned and began to walk away, but suddenly stopped when you grabbed his wrist. "Thank you," you said timidly. He didn't turn to face you, only giving a curt nod before slipping out of your grasp.

You gazed at your palm insilence, before raising your eyes to his receding form. Boa hurriedly dashed towards Luffy, throwing herself at him,only to be harshly pushed away.

As you furrow your brows, you observe him striding towards his gang. Nami and Robin catch sight of you and give a subtle wave with smiles on their faces.

You slowly raise your hand, reciprocating the gesture, before turning and leaving with Ace,who keeps apologizing incessantly.

marco flicked ace's forehead "im sure she got it the first 30 times ace. she's fine , that's all that matters" marco said with a smile

ace pouts slightly "y/n-ya!" trafalgar called , you turned to look at the raven haired male with a slight smile "yea traffy"

"Bepo and the others were wondering if you wanted to hang out sometime since it's been a while since we last saw you — they were too shyto ask you themselves" Law said as he turned to glare at his gang who hid behind a blushing Bepo.

You flashed them agentle smile and responded, "Certainly, whenever you find yourself available, simply give me a call," directing your words primarily towards Trafalgar's gang who erupted in cheers.

"Okay y/n-Chan!" they exclaimed , you bid your goodbyes with Trafalgar as whitebeard was ready to leave.

ace pulled you close, his arms enveloping your shoulder. "Don't you want to talk to your friends? They've been watching you all night," Ace whispered, his eyes shifting to Luffy and his crew.

You followed his gaze and noticed that the Straw Hats were, in fact, staring at you. Their faces carried a slight frown, which made you feel somewhat uneasy.

You sighed softly. "Okay, fine. I'll go talk to them. Give me a second," you said. Ace nodded in agreement.

As you approached the strawhats, their eyes widened in surprise, andyou greeted them timidly with a slight smile.

"y/n!" chopper exclaimed as he rushed over to your feet in his reindeer form, you gently scooped him up, saying "hi Chopper" ina soft, cooing voice before planting a gentle kiss on his cheek.

"y/n-Chan, I've missed you so much~!" Sanji exclaimed, reaching out for you as Nami held onto the collar of his shirt.

"i guess i missed you too sanji" you said , "wah ! y/n , it's so boring without you ! ivan-chan asked about you at work everyday , i had to give your spot to some new kid because i didn't know if you'd come back" Nami wailed as she rushed over to you , wrapping her arms around you

you sighed softly "I'm sorry nami , it's alright. i missed your company too" gently caressing her orange hair

"i cased your guns for you y/n" franky states , before you could reply ace yells "y/n , pop's is ready to go!"

With a heavy heart, you nodded at Luffy's gang "I suppose it's time for me to go, farewell everyone." you whispered as you gently placed Chopper down before following Ace.

something but slowly closed it back as he watched the main door shut before sighing "i miss y/n" chopper states sadly as he transformed back into his human form with a frown

Robin gently rubbed his back "we do too chopper.."
