▌Monkey D. Luffy ! LUST ★ CHAPTER EIGHTEEN.
⁀➷ As you were having your breakfast, you couldn't help but notice Ace's penetrating stare fixed upon you. It left you feeling slightly uneasy, causing you to squirm in your seat. Unable to ignore it any longer, you softly mumbled, "Could you please stop staring at me like that?"
He said, "Once you tell me where you disappeared to this morning," you narrowed your eyes in response to his statement. "What? I was in bed," you asserted firmly.
"wrong. I literally saw you through my window running off. At first, I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me because I had just woken up. But then, when I went to check on you, Izo was asleep in your bed. Now, tell me, Y/n, where did you run off to?" he asked.
You let out a sigh of defeat, your shoulders slumping slightly. "I didn't want to break it to you like this, but... I went to see Luffy," you murmured.
ace perked up at your words "oh? how did that go?"
"It went really well, actually," you said with a slight smile. Ace hummed softly, "You should have told me before running off like that. What if something had happened to you out there? I'd never forgive myself," he said.
"It was quite late, and I didn't want to disturb you at the last minute. Izo only found out because he caught me leaving secretly," you grumbled. "Moreover..."
ace raised a brow as you trailed off "what?"
"Luffy.. has asked me to come back and live with them, but I explained that I wanted to talk to you first. After all the support you've given me, it wouldn't feel right to leave suddenly. I think it's only fair to discuss this with you before making any decisions."
With a warm smile, Ace affirmed, "You are my bestfriend, and I'll always be there for you, regardless of whether you seek my help. Moreover, they long for your presence as much as you yearn for theirs. Consider moving back in with them, but be sure to visit me whenever possible, unless you want me to forcefully drag you back here." Ace playfully added.
You cheer and leap up to embrace him. "Thank you, Ace! I love you!"
"I love you too," he said, gently patting your head.

"I'm back!" you exclaimed as you entered the Straw Hat Mansion. Gasps filled the living room as all heads turned in your direction.
