▌Monkey D. Luffy ! LUST ★ CHAPTER THIRTEEN.
⁀➷ As your eyes fluttered open and you slowly sat up, a slight wince of discomfort crossed your face as you felt a stinging sensation across your abdomen.
"careful, chopper said you should rest." Luffy said from across the room, you slowly shift your gaze to his direction
The noticeable dark circles under his eyes caught your attention "sorry for causing so much trouble.. how long was i out for?" You asked quietly
"2 days"
"when was the last time you slept?" You asked "2 days ago."
you pursed your lips at his words and pat the empty spot beside you "what?" Luffy asked
"you need to rest too, come on." You said, luffy shook his head as he stared at you blankly
"I'm not taking no for an answer." you said sternly, luffy raised a brow before exhaled "fine, whatever."
you smiled as he reluctantly joined you on the bed, kicking off his sandals. He slipped under the comforter and you wrapped your arms around his waist gently.
luffy tensed at the contact before relaxing as you spoke "Thank you for rescuing me.. I would have died. I apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused you."
"it's whatever. It's my fault you got kidnapped anyways.." he said as he stared at the ceiling
you hummed slightly and yawned "did he do anything to you?" he asked
...
"y/n." Luffy said in a serious tone as you stayed silent "yes.."
"what did he do?" he asked, Your heart tightened as tears threatened to spill from your eyes, memories flooding back.
"it's nothing don't worry about it.." you said softly, luffy heard your voice crack slightly and he looked down at you
turning your head to look at him, luffy stared into your e/c eyes. "it is something. now tell me what he did to you." he said sternly
teary eyed you replied softly "he.. he let his crew have their way w-with me and then he tied me to the c-ceiling and used his- his whipped on me.."
luffy's eyes widened at your words "shit. I should have came sooner or none of this would have happened!" he said
you shook your head and smiled slightly "it's alright, really. I'm just glad you came.." you said softly
you rest you head against his chest and exhaled softly — eyes slowly closing as you spoke "Luffy saved me so I'm glad"
In silence, Luffy gazed up at the ceiling, his heart skipping a beat at the impact of your words. He tenderly wrapped his arms around your waist, enveloping you in his embrace.
He had an overwhelming urge to hold you tightly and shield you from harm. Learning about Doflamingo's actions made Luffy desire to storm Marine HQ and take vengeance upon Doflamingo.
'What's this feeling?..' he thought as he stared down at you.
