Onyx places his paw on Millie’s shoulder. “Don’t be so hard on yourself; we can’t always win all our battles.” Millie sighed softly. “Yeah, you are right, but what was that power? You saw it, didn’t you? It was like that lady had a special type of Pokeball, full of energy. It was like that type of energy made her Partner unstoppable.” Onyx thinks, “Wait, I knew that Pokeball seemed familiar & I might know where we can learn more about it.” He looks at her. “If I can get into that grass-type gym leaders tournament, I can help us get more information about the special orb the gym leader uses, and then we can use the info we learn and make a special Pokeball like that for our Pokémon.” Millie gasps “wait but if that gym leader uses that power just like, that mysterious women, how will you defeat her?”

“I will defeat her by training hard in the next few weeks; Cyra, & Zephyr will need to work hard to defeat our next challenge, and so will you, Speranza, & Aurora. So Millie, if you want to succeed in this new world, I suggest we catch as many Pokemon as possible.”

Millie holds Aurora in her arms and strokes his fur. “if I want to become a great Pokemon researcher, I need to learn all about Pokemon.” Onyx smiles. “You not only need to learn about the Pokemon, but You also need to make your partners stronger, so you don’t get your tail handed to you in a pretty bowtie again because not all the Pokemon you try to catch will be easy they will end up battling you & your partners. Just as Salamence was before, you could capture them.”

Millie nods. “I know that, Onyx; plus, I’ve been hearing rumors on the news that a dangerous Pokemon team is doing everything they can to prevent trainers & researchers in their journeys because they are blocking certain regions with heavily armed blockades & trying to conquer all of Anrix, I’ve also heard certain trainers went missing.”
Onyx places his paw on Millie’s shoulder, “which is why we need to become stronger & bond more with our partners, so if we ever come across this team, we’ll be ready.” He then outstretches his paw and notices Cyra & zephyr place their paws on his he then looks at Millie and smiles. “Looks like Zephyr & Cyra agree with me, but it all comes down to you & your partners.” Millie notices this interaction & sees Salamence use his tail to place it in the huddle. “Speranza, you too?” Speranza lets out a low roar and then looks at both her & aurora & nods his head. “you see, Millie, even your Salamence agrees; she then notices a soft white bunny paw and looks to her left. “Huh, who are you?”

Onyx chuckles, then another paw is placed, and a familiar voice is heard. “I see; you two are bonding well. I would like you both to meet my companion, Cyrus. She is my lucky charm and my first-ever catch. I raised her & cared for her ever since she was in an egg; she is now a Cinderace.” Millie then turns to her right and notices Professor Shade. “Professor?” Millie prevents herself from shedding a tear, then notices Aurora walking up to the huddle & places his paw on top of Cyrus’s paw.

“So, my young pupil, what do you say to Onyx’s offer? Will you train as hard as him & help Aurora become strong along with other Pokemon in your team so that you can take down Galaga & that rumored team to help those trainers & researchers before you continue their journeys & become great Pokemon masters & researchers, just like us?”

Millie is speechless for a few minutes before she places her paw in the group huddle and then looks at the massive group of Pokemon companions & her brand-new partners in Pokemon research. “I will train the hardest I can so that when I see galaga & that mysterious team, I’ll be ready for anything, and when I see my father, he can be proud of me.”

The entire group cheers & lifts their paws off in sequence, letting out happy roars & shouts. Professor Shade looks at both Millie & Onyx. “let’s get to the lab; I believe it’s time for the both of you to meet the whole crew & get some well-needed rest. “Millie & Onyx nod and follow professor shade to the lab vanishing over the hill.”

A group of six hooded figures appears from the bushes & a masked jackal with brown, peach, & grey fur removes his hood and looks to his allies. “Well, we have a new threat; it looks like that old Professor is still., trying to stop us from finding that blasted unknown region where the accident happened.” The jackal then looks to his crew. “Well then, now that we know he’s training recruits, I say our time here is done; let us all report back to HQ.”

The masked jackal sees his allies quickly dash into the woods & vanish; he then shouts, “Roaring moon return.” A sudden burst of red energy returns to the Pokeball of the Jackal. He smiles. “Perfect scouting Moon.” He glares one last time at Professor Shade’s path; farewell for now, old man, but the darkest of eclipses is coming, and we will rue the day.”
