"It's been a long time, Nibiru." The Sun spoke, squinting his eyes at the smaller Celestial, "Tell me, what gives you the right to return?"
X took a step forward, "Nothing, great Guardian of Light... I just came back to apologize."
The Sun scoffed, "Is that so?"
X nodded, "I've seen the error of my ways- I know what I did was wrong."
Jupiter and Saturn glanced at each other, having a sense of unease as the other talked.
"Do you think I don't know that you're lying?" Sun scowled, "I see everything within this area of the Milky Way- I see all, I know all. You will leave if you know what's best for you, Nibiru."
X was silent for a moment, tilting his head down as he muttered, "You leave me no choice then..."
Uranus noticed X pulling something from his pocket; an eight-pointed blue object that shone just as bright as the Sun. His eyes widened as he opened his mouth to call out, yet it was muffled as Neptune placed a hand over his mouth.
"Shshsh..." Neptune hushed him, whispering to him, "Uranus, I know you think I'm on his side, but I need you to trust me."
Uranus peered at him, his eyes panicked and his voice suppressed.
"Do you trust me, Uranus?" Neptune looked at him, concealing his smile as Uranus nodded, "Good- now, follow me."
The two Ice Giants drifted away from X, Neptune pulling out a key and inserting it into the silver braces.
"You're letting me go...?" Uranus spoke, rubbing his wrists.
"Of course- he may be my 'brother,' but you're still my cousin." Neptune smiled. Uranus allowed himself to smile before a voice cut through the atmosphere.
"You claim to see everything," X spoke, raising the object before him, "But did you see me obtain this?"
The Sun's eyes widened as he stared at the item, "You... have a Novastar."
"That's right," X smirked.
"You mean you actually traveled beyond the solar system?" Jupiter asked.
"Of course, and that's where I found this newly ejected Novastar, fresh for the picking by the ashes of its dead Star." X chose his words carefully, glancing at the Sun.
The Sun balled his fists, his face full of fury as his eyes burned with rage. His spherical head set like a hellfire burning brighter and brighter with each new emotion he felt, "That's it... ATTACK!"
At that moment, Mercury, Mars, and Venus leaped out from the asteroid belt in their Celestial forms, weapons blazing as they charged at X.
"Pathetic." He uttered as he drew his weapon. He touched the Novastar to the trident, giving it a power surge as he blocked the oncoming attacks, knocking the Celestials off their orbits.
'I have to get that star away from him.' Neptune thought. He cracked his knuckles before stretching his arm, grabbing hold of X's ankle, and yanking hard.
X went with the motion, gasping as he was swept off his orbit. He noticed the novastar drifting away from him. He scowled before using his trident and slicing through Neptune's arm.
Neptune winced, pulling his arm back as he stretched out his other one to catch the novastar before X did.
"You little-" X got cut off by Venus' lance striking him in the face, "Augh!"
X covered his face, striking Venus back with his trident. Venus managed to block the attack, yet could barely hold him off as he felt the overwhelming power coming from the weapon.
"A little help here...!" Venus called.
"What's wrong, goddess of beauty? Afraid of a little pain?" X grinned.
"Oh," Venus grunted, "You have no idea the pain I've felt..."
Something slammed into X's side, knocking him off of Venus.
"Pick on someone your own size," Uranus spoke, his weapon drawn as he pointed it at X.
"Of course, that idiot let you go," X uttered, his eyes peering over at Neptune who stood behind him with his trident drawn.
"It'd be better if you surrender," Neptune told him.
"What is this? Some kind of intervention?" X questioned, gesturing to Uranus and Neptune who were on both sides of him, "How cute."
Neptune frowned, lowering his weapon, "I don't want to hurt you, X, but you give me no choice when you hurt my friends."
"Am I supposed to feel sorry?" X seemed offended, "You have no idea why I was ejected!"
"But I do." Uranus spoke, "You wanted to destroy Venus and Mars for having life on their surfaces!"
"Because life is nothing but a parasite!" X yelled, "I was the only one who noticed it was hurting them! I bet Earth feels ten times the amount that they felt."
Earth froze from within the asteroid belt where he was eavesdropping.
"Earth, we really should get you back," Luna mentioned.
"Just a minute more, Luna," Earth replied.
"Life is such a silly thing to call something that sucks it out of you, it takes everything from you until you have nothing left to offer." X said, "I was being reasonable when I said we should destroy Venus and Mars' life since... well, they were going to lose it eventually."
Mars and Venus looked horrified as they clutched their weapons in their hands. Mercury stood in front of them, almost as if to protect them even if he was the smallest.
"You've lost your way, Nibiru..." The Sun spoke, "It's about time you stop this heinous actions of yours."
"If you think some lecture is going to stop me..." X muttered, raising his arm, "You're dead wrong."
Ice stalactites came out from his body as he put his arm out, the particles spraying and releasing out into the atmosphere like a blizzard.
SHINK! SHINK! SHINK!
Hundreds of ice fragments stabbed into Neptune's body, eliciting a short gasp from his mouth as he reeled back.
Uranus' eyes widened as he dropped his weapon. Everything felt slow as he watched his cousin fall back.
"Neptune!"
