"Do not be such a drag, Proxima." Sol spoke, "It is not like it was capable of forming anyway."

Proxima averted their eyes, "It was only an innocent being... how could I have let this happen?"

"It is not your fault, Proxima," Sirius assured.

"But it is our duty to look after newly formed beings, is it not?" Proxima bit his lip.

"Indeed. However, we can not foresee such events," Toliman told him, laying a hand on the other's forearm.

"We can help you get your mind off it, though." Gliese stepped in, "What do you say, Proxima?"

"Sure." Proxima gave the others a small smile.

"You coming, Helios?" Spica turned to her friend, whom she realized was not following.

"I honestly do not get what the big deal is," Sol said, prompting the others to stop and stare at the Yellow Star.

"What do you mean?" Toliman questioned, his gaze intimidating.

"Why are you so upset about a planet that was destroyed? It happens all the time." Sol shrugged.

Gliese huffed, "Just because you do not have a single strand of empathy does not mean you get to make everyone feel worse."

"I do have empathy, just not for ridiculous things such as this!" Sol scowled. Proxima frowned, casting his eyes to the void below.

"You will hold your words, Helios," Toliman spoke, glaring at him.

"What? Am I getting lectured now?"

"What is your problem, Helios!?" Gliese yelled, "Is this fun for you? Do you enjoy making us suffer!?"

Sol scoffed, flexing his hands repeatedly, "Do not make me laugh, Gliese. Of course not! Why do you always attack me? The others do not seem as bothered as you are."

"Because you are insufferable!"

3... he reached behind him.

"Have you ever had a single thought in your entire existence?"

2... he pulled out a long wire of fire and plasma.

"You act so high and mighty that it is annoying-"

"Helios, no-!" He faintly heard Spica calling out to him.

1... the whip came crashing down.

...

"Sol." Spica pressed a gentle hand on the other's shoulder, spooking him out of his thoughts, "You okay?"

Sun glanced at her, flashing a smile, "Yeah- just thinking, hahah!"

Spica noticed the crestfallen look in his eyes as he moved away from her, his arms crossing over each other as he returned to his thoughts.

"You're thinking about it, aren't you?" The Blue Star knitted her eyebrows together as she looked at her friend with worry.
