'Hey mom what happened ?' I asked
'Agastya are you dumb ? I've been calling you since one hour where the hell were you ?' She asked
'Mom I am at the office what happened?' I asked

'I'm at a friend house mom what happened just tell me' I said
'Mayra had been throwing up since one hour she kept crying for you so just come fast ' she said almost crying

'I'll be there in 10 min'I said
I quickly wore my clothes and rushed outsidw

I drove as fast as I could
I opened the door and rushed to mayra's room
She was looking all pale lying on the bed coughing
'Did you call the doctor?' I asked
'Yes , she has food poisoning he prescribed some medicine' my mom said cleary mad at me

'Dadda where were you ?' She tried so hard to make a sentence
'I'm so sorry bunny so sorry ' I said
'You always say that but you do same thing again' she said
'I'm so sorry ' I picked her up placing her on my lap

'Now let's eat some porridge and then let's take some medicine' I said

'I'm rohan I was event manager at dev's wedding' he introduced himself

'You left your wallet at my house ' he said silently like he was afraid
'Okay' I took my wallet and went downstairs how the hell he knew my address
'Aunty can you make porridge for mayra ' i said

'Baby come to dadda , I'll feed you this' I said
She just hid her face in rohan's neck and hugged him tightly
'I'll feed her if it's okay ?' He asked politely

He started feeding her while she told him some useless stories to him and he was listening to her
'Okay now please take this medicine for me or your dada will scold me and you both you don't want that ,do you ?' He asked and she quickly ate the medicine

They went to her room
I got up a drank a glass of whiskey neat
