Knock. Knock.
You try to move your body, but it was like it didn't exist to begin with. All you could see was a darkness that consumed you entirely. You felt pure energy arise within you reminding you of static.
Knock. Knock.
You weren't alone though you direly wished you were. There was whispers of children all around you calling out for your attention. Sometime, they called you mother sending a chill though your form.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
You lunge from your sheet drenched in sweat. Your gaze fell on your digital clock to see it was just a little past two in the morning. The banging on the door continues sending a wave of confusion through you. Why would someone be here at this time of night? It pisses you off some knowing you have work in the morning, and you desperately needed your sleep even if you were dealing with nightmares. Groaning, you throw your comforter to the side slipping on your house slipper to greet the visitors. Your stairs creaked with each step you took reminding you how old this house. Yawning, you eventually round the corner coming to your front door. You opened it to be met with an older man; his pals walking up behind him. Before he could speak, he waves something in front of your face causing you to take a few steps back. A look of satisfaction cross his features adorning you with a smile.
" Well, aren't you just soecial?"
His friends pass him in entering your house, and you try to run not getting very far at all. One grasps your hair before putting a rag of chloroform over your mouth. You struggle to breath your nails raking across the flesh of his arm. As your vision goes in and out, you could hear the voices in panick for you. For once....
You fount it comforting.
