Continuation of Chapter 15.

Just to be clear James Potter's grandmother is Dorea Potter (née Black) she is Arcturus Black's sister. She's married to Charlus Potter, who in the family tree is a distant a relative of James Potter but in my story Charlus Potter and Dorea Potter (née Black) are James Potter's grandparents and Fleamont Potter's parents.

At around half past ten in the morning it started pouring heavily. The weather was gloomy. Thunder rumbled off oftentimes. Grey clouds spread upon the sky expanse. King's Cross Station was as usual packed with muggles rushing from platforms to platforms in time to aboard their trains. Among these muggles who had no knowledge of Wizarding World, were people dressed in outdated robes and cloaks, who belonged to the said world.

The area between platforms 10 and 9 was packed with families of witches and wizards trying to get through the brick wall discreetly to arrive in platform 9 and ¾. Such another wizarding family was the Black family, whose daughter was starting her first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Cygnus conjured a trolley out of thin air and placed Merope's trunk and owl cage on it before pushing it towards the barrier between platforms 10 and 9. The little white owl, Bianca, soared in her cage creating rattling noise and gaining attention from the passerby muggles who expression was that of astonishment.

Druella quickly placed a silencing spell on the cage. Now it looked like as though Bianca was struggling to be set free from the cage in silence. As though she knew her hooting was in vain she started swaying madly in cage causing it to sway violently.

"Don't look suspicious Merope. Your owl has already done it for us." He grunted still pushing the trolley. "These are all servent stuffs." He spat harshly on the ground near the foot of a muggle - who was rather bulky and large - dressed in a dark blue black uniform with a clipboard and a pen under his arm and blowing out his whistle.

The said muggle turned around and looked at the family deathly green in face. He looked at the trolley and the white owl in the caged, who kept nipping her beak on the lock of the cage.

"Excuse me mister!" Spoke the muggle is wincing tone as though restraining himself from bursting out. "Did you just spit on -"

"Confundus."

The muggle looked dazed for a second before he let out shrilly squeaks, covering his mouth with his palm. He looked like a confused mute comedian.

The family of three walked hurriedly towards the brick walled barrier between platforms 10 and 9. Merope looked back at the muggle as he stood giggling at an old woman, (who was clearly frustrated and hit him with her large dusty handbag shreiking at him in broken English about tickets) and then casually stood leaning on the barrier before vanishing out of sight into the platform 9 and ¾.
