Leon and Jasper had left through an elevator and proceeded to make their way to the surface. It was quiet until Leon received a transmission. Startled, he reached for his earpiece, answering the call.
"Leon." Leon's eyebrows lifted as he realized Ada speaking to him again, "There's only time to say this once, so listen up. They took your friend to the top of the clock tower. If you guys hurry, you might get there before she turns into one of them."
"Ah, so you aren't heartless after all. I guess we should be... thankful?" Leon questioned out of spite.
"Yeah, you should," Ada replied shortly before ending the call, just as the elevator came to a stop.
"Who was that?" Jasper asked as he and Leon stepped out of the elevator.
"Ada gave us a friendly tip. She said they've taken Ashley to the clock tower," Leon informed him, looking around and spotted the clock tower in the distance. "Right there."
Jasper followed his gaze and his eyes landed on the clock tower. He nodded, "Then we should go. Who knows how much time Ashley has left?"
The two agents went over to the cart that would bring them across. Jasper opened the cart's door and stepped inside, holding the door open for Leon to enter. Once they were in, Jasper closed the door and the cart made its way across. They looked up at the imposing clock tower before them. "Hang in there, Ashley," Leon muttered.
Once they made it to the clock tower, they stepped off of the cart and entered the building. They burst through the door and drew their guns forward, ready to fire. Suddenly, the two agents heard slow clapping ringing out the tall and spacious building. They glanced up, spotting Ramón standing above them three levels up.
"You two are nothing if not unyielding. However, I am afraid it ends here," Ramón declared before he turned around, ordering the zealots in the building, "Expel these intruders!"
"Shit!" Leon cursed under his breath as he heard footsteps rushing down the spiral stairs. Numerous zealots came down towards the two agents and the two agents began to fire, striking the zealots with precision. One of the zealots with a shield advanced towards them and Leon switched to his gunshot in a swift motion and fired at the shield. This allowed Leon to shoot again, striking the zealot and sending them crashing to the ground.
Jasper sent a powerful roundhouse kick to an approaching zealot, knocking them back into two other zealots and sending them crashing to the ground like bowling pins. Jasper took his chance to shoot, a bullet pierced through each of their heads with perfect precision. Out of nowhere, a flaming arrow narrowly hits the two agents. Jasper turned to the shooter standing on the flight of stairs and quickly shot them square in the head.
After they took out the group of zealots, Leon and Jasper rushed up the spiral stairs. It was after they climbed up a single floor that Leon and Jasper realized something. An axe was being thrown in their direction, which they narrowly dodged. Leon shot the zealot down as Jasper inquired, "Is that a giant statue of Ramón?"
