As the clock ticked to 1:30 pm, the bell rang and all the students quickly rushed out of their classrooms for lunch.

Many sat outside in the playground, or in the cafeteria and some were in the library, doing assignments, reading books or just sitting down with their friends.

"He came!?"

"Sssh, stay quiet! You're going to get us kicked out by the librarian." Hyunjin said as they both sat down at one of the empty tables in the huge library.

"Oh, sorry." Seungmin said. "Can't let that happen. Again."

Hyunjin frowned at him.

"So, anyway, he came?" Seungmin said in a much lower voice.

"Yes, he did."

"Woah, didn't expect that."

"Me neither."

"So, did you ask him?"

"Ask him what?"

"Why hates you?"

"I did."

"And what did he say?" Seungmin asked in frustration, having to ask so many questions for just one answer.

"He said, that's just a rumor and he doesn't hate me."

"Well, that should at least make things easier for you."

"I guess it should."

Seungmin groaned. "Why are you so awfully vague? Don't tell me this is how vague you were when you were with Felix."

Hyunjin sighed. "Is it bad?"

"What is?"

"Being vague."

"Oh, you don't know how frustrating it is."

Hyunjin sighed again.

"When you're trying to pursue someone, you should be talkative. Tell them things about yourself and ask something about them. Make conversation. If you weren't so introverted, it'd be no problem for you."

"Gosh, this bet thing is harder than I thought."

"Then just call it off, it's that simple."

Hyunjin snapped. "No fucking way. I'm not going to give San the pleasure of seeing me go down so easily."

"Jeez, competitive."

Hyunjin looked down, feeling his hands sweating because of the gloves but he didn't dare take them off.

"Speaking of competitiveness..." Seungmin said, looking at the book racks. "Look who I just saw."

Hyunjin didn't even have to look to find out. "Let me guess, Felix?"

"Why am I more excited than you?"

"I don't know. Why are you? It's not like I'm actually in love with him."

"I know. But, being a good friend, I want to make sure you succeed in your goals. Even if it means breaking someone's heart."

Hyunjin looked at Felix who seemed to be looking through the series of books stacked in book racks while talking to his friend, Jeongin.

Felix (probably feeling like someone was stalking him) turned and caught eye contact with Hyunjin. Felix smiled and waved at him.

Hyunjin just stared at him, not knowing what to do or say.

"Wave back." Seungmin said, grabbing Hyunjin's wrist and raising his hand, waving it for him.

Hyunjin bit his lips, feeling as if he wanted to disappear.

"Why are you so oddly stiff?" Seungmin asked, lowering Hyunjin's hand. "You should go talk to him."

"Are you kidding? I'm not talking to him."

Seungmin sighed in frustration. "Well, what do you think is going to happen? A miracle? And then Felix is magically going to walk over to you?"
