Felix sighed as the chauffeur opened the door to the car, stepping out as he walked towards the entrance of the school.
"Just another fucking day at this fucking school." He mumbled. "Can't be worse than yesterday."
Felix walked through the halls and corridors, trying to find Hyunjin. He wanted to apologize to Hyunjin for his outburst yesterday. Not only because he wanted to keep on trailing after him to open up to his secret but a part of him felt guilty for taking his anger out on someone that probably didn't mean for it to happen.
Felix reached the locker area. He scanned through the area for any sign of Hyunjin but found none. His eyes landed on a particular locker, not so far away from his, that he was able to recognize. It was Hyunjin's. He could remember from yesterday when he got him to sign his shirt.
Felix caught sight of a small pink ribbon sticking out from under the closed locker. He approached the locker, taking the silky pink stuff in his hand, feeling the smooth texture.
It probably wasn't really smart of the school to give lockers to students that clearly couldn't be locked. Anyone could open it and put anything inside them or even take anything.
As much as he didn't want to be one of the people who snoop through people's stuff, part of him wanted to open the locker, see if there was anything inside that could potentially reveal to him anything about Hyunjin's glove secret.
But, he couldn't just open the locker. What if Hyunjin came out of nowhere? Not to mention there are lots of people watching him. People who could start rumors and make him look even more petty that he already felt. Students, almost all of them, who had connections to Seungmin who was best friends with Hyunjin, who wouldn't think twice about telling him about how Felix went through his locker.
Hyunjin would find out and would be like the rest of the people, looking at him like dirt. He'll only let it go because of his bet. And Felix would go along with it, so he can find his secret and tell it to the school full of people who hated him.
"What am I doing?" Felix said, looking down at the pink ribbon as he withdrew his hand from it.
"I was gonna ask you that." A voice suddenly spoke from behind him and he turned around instantly as he looked up at Hyunjin, who still had that cold 'hard to read' expression on his face.
Hyunjin was awfully close and Felix had his back pressed against the locker, his face turning red slightly.
"What were you doing?" Hyunjin asked and Felix couldn't tell if he was angry or not.
"I was looking at the pretty pink ribbon sticking out from your locker." Felix said, trying his best not to stutter because of how close his and Hyunjin's faces were. "I was looking for you as well."
"Me?" Hyunjin stepped back slightly, giving Felix some room to move.
"Yes, you."
"Why?"
"Well," Felix blushed. He had never been a person up for apologizing. Most of the time, he did shit and never even felt guilty. "I wanted to talk to you."
"About what?"
Felix was about to speak but he felt eyes looking at him. Students who were standing nearby, whispering, making remarks about him. Though he didn't get what they were saying, he was sure it was about him. He felt a mixture of guilt, shame and embarrassment wash over him. He looked down at the floor.
"W-what is that pretty pink ribbon of?" Felix stuttered, not even understanding half of the words he said.
Hyunjin raised an eyebrow in confusion but shook off the weird question and opened the locker door, revealing the small pretty bouquet of pink roses that were tied with a rather long pink ribbon.
