It had been three weeks since I started school in LA. It wasn't that bad but some faces just irked me. Life was so miserable and boring in this huge mansion, I did my usual routine of skating to the park at night.

As for Liam, we never spoke from the day he was told to be my so called 'mentor'.
He just looked at me with an irritated, numb or angry face. I simply rolled my eyes each time. Kat had told me that Liam and Tatiana were childhood friends. Plus they were in an open relationship where Tatiana was just obsessed with Liam.
Principal Rosa called me numerous times to ask how I was doing with Liam's help, and I told her we were both great. Lies...I could see how much I hated me in just a week.

I sat in the library, it was serene. I was so exhausted from all the work I had to do both at school and at home. There was hardly anyone, my head was kind of paining. I left my seat and instead sat on the floor, leaning against a shelf. I tried reading a novel, Pride and Prejudice. My head hurt even more. I removed my hair from it's bun and put it in a ponytail. I got rid of the old french curls.
I groaned with my head between both my hands. "Jesus Christ....why is my head paining so much?" I felt someone standing in front of me. On looking up, it was Liam. I think he was about 6'2 feet tall, if I estimated.
"Hey dimwit!" I said feebly, he instead offered his hand for me to stand up, I took it.
"Are you fine?" He asked, I felt even more dizzy while standing. "Why are suddenly concerned?" I felt my joints shaking, no, not now. I didn't remember the last time I had an actual meal, I had ARFID.

I lost balance and almost fell down. Liam instead held me with his large hands. Before I knew it, I was being carried to a table.
He sat me on a table and gave me a small pack of glucose.
I looked at him, "Why are you giving me glucose? Do you think I have diabetes? I don't lack sugar or energy in my body." Liam came close and put his arms on either sides of the table.
"Don't be so stubborn, Caramel."
Caramel? I poked his bicep, shit, it was like a rock. "Athena...not caramel." I opened the glucose and poured it down my throat. Ewww! It was too sweet, of course, it had to be.

His lips curved in to a slight smile. "Good girl." I almost choked on the glucose. He had just smiled? Not smiled but something like that.
"You finally did your job...thank you." I sarcastically smiled and pushed him away. I took my seat and started to read again. He sat across me, I refused to look the black hair they was falling in his face and those eyes.
He broke the silence, "Aren't you supposed to be reading some kind of Biology or Chemistry book." I rolled my eyes and swayed the book to the side. "It's called free time, dimwit."

"You've been lying to Ms. Rosa about me helping you, haven't you?" Oh! About that..."Yes, so..."
Liam stood up and came towards me, "I like your hair today."

I scoffed and put it back in a bun.
"Thank you!" I stood up and started pulling him by his hand. He had to go, I wanted to read my book in peace.
"You know what, you're too strong but not for me." I pulled him again and he walked forward.
As I was still complaining, he pinned me on one of the shelves.
"I'm going to start doing my now." I slowly pushed him to the opposite shelf.
"Correction. Punishment not job, dimwit."

He removed my puff holder and put it around his wrist.
"I don't think being around you is that much of a punishment, Caramel." He walked away.
What was wrong with him? He took my puff holder without my permission. He was going to pay.

When I left the library, I wanted to head to the science laboratory but I heard music playing in the dance studio. I had avoided that place for three weeks now.
I had been restricted from dancing because of knee.
On reaching, I saw Kat, Kai and Mia among the dancers.
Kat came towards me, "Do you dance?"
I nodded with a yes, well I didn't know she was going to tell everyone. Goodness, even Tatiana was there. I thought she only did cheerleading. "Could you sample? Everyone wants to see you dance."
Before dancing, I looked around. My eyes met with a pair of steel blue ones.
"Kat, the hell is he doing here?" She whispered, "He used to dance but he got a ligament surgery a year and a half ago."

Kat pushed me forward, I removed my cardigan as ' Wild side' played.

I danced and felt as though everything around me was just fine. All my worries and thoughts were slowly disappearing, I don't think I had felt this happy in months. Tatiana suddenly stopped the music when everyone's attention was on me.
She snapped her fingers, "This is my dance club. No intruders are allowed."  She flipped her hair and walked away.

"Athena, you were marvelous babes!" Kai said hugging me, I hugged him back. People I didn't know all complimented me, I was happy. Kat put her hand over my shoulder. "Hey, your glowing. I had never seen you smile this much, most times it's just a mean poker face. You even have fovea dimples!" Mean poker face huh!

When I looked around again, Liam was with Tatiana. They were making out, whatever, it was expected. I wanted water but the only bottle I could spot was near them. I walked there not wanting to interrupt their session but I was thirsty. Our eyes looked again, I rolled mine and looked away. I grabbed the water and walked out. They were the only two left in there.
I walked as first as I could trying to catch up with Kat but I remembered I left my cardigan in the dance studio.I had to go back though it felt weird.
