I was so pissed off, how could he go almost a month without texting or calling to check in on me.

Kai had been flirting with the waitress. She was very beautiful with abit of vitiligo around her eyes. Making her lashes white, her brown skin shiny and smooth. She was slightly lighter than me.
She served our drinks and left, "Kai seriously, you're disturbing her. She's working."
He just laughed and followed her, typical Kai. But she wasn't an easy target either.
I left for the bathroom, still thinking of how Liam was going to come and just get me out of here. I texted him, telling him not to come.

I didn't want to create a scene, Kai clearly hated Liam.
I left the bathroom and washed my hands. This restaurant was fancier than I thought.
I felt a hard figure press against my back. Oh no.
I turned as fast as I could trying to push Liam away but he was too large.
"The Fuck is wrong with you. You left for a while fucking month and now you want make...."

He put a figure on my lips, and quietly looked down at me. I didn't look away, "Can we at least talk?"
Talk about him fucking those hot Spanish girls!
"Don't touch me..." I pushed him away.
"I don't know anything about you, Liam. I don't know what you do and you didn't even tell me Kai was your cousin."
I tried walking out but he pulled me back.
"Can we talk at least?" I accepted because I knew he would follow me and Kai would see us together.
"Wait for me outside."

I told Kai I was leaving for important stuff at home.
"Wait, you haven't met my new friend, Zahara."
Zahara? I quickly snapped out out of my thoughts, "Hi Zahara!"
She smiled at me, "Nice to meet you. Well your friend and I aren't friends. He told me you're also from Africa."
I wasn't surprised, "Yeah I'm from the Pearl of Africa."

She said, "Well I'm from Ethiopia." I happily exclaimed, "Well my great grandmother was Ethiopian."
I was always to meet other Africans.
My phone buzzed, Liam was telling me to cut the conversation. So impatient.
"See you guys later!" It was kind of getting dark. I then texted mum telling her I'm going to Kat's.

                           ***
Liam rode his bike very fast, I could feel the breeze hit my face.
I was to focused on the music playing through my air pods.
That's so true by Gracie Abrams.

We reached Liam's house, I didn't know what he wanted us to talk about. The entire house was dark and creepy, to me.
Liam turned the lights on at once, what the actual heck. I surpassed my smile.
There were decorations designed with I'm sorry.
A table with champagne and expensive glasses, petals of white and pink roses. At least he knew I hated red roses.
"You didn't have to do all this you punk."
Instead he carried me in his arms and took me to the table.
Besides my chair, there were  gift boxes. I was eager to know what was inside.

He sat across me, "You can open it." I took my time to open the box that was in the table.
There was a beautiful knitted beige sweater with Caramel and my face on it. My  face was knitted in black threads.
I smiled, I was still pissed though.
"You didn't have to put my face on it." He grinned at me, "I guess I just felt like."
I think I actually loved the sweater, as for my face. It was more of a side image. I was smiling at something.

I thanked him and now it was time for the talk.
I felt like I wanted us to sit on the floor in the living room, he agreed.
We sat down and I was looking at him intensely, I realized.
"Athena, if I tell you everything. I think it's up to you to leave. It's quite a lot."
I nodded and gave him a reassuring smile.

"I'm someone who isn't very nice, I'd say. I've been dealing in illegal transportation of weapons, drugs and minerals."
I raised a brow. He added, "Well I also have very descent businesses like the wine one and I have several hotels in different places."
I ventured, "Is that why you went to Spain?"

Liam took a deep breath, "No, for that case I...some of my workers have been misbehaving with young girls and women, under my fucking name. I had to stop that, I went there to...kill them. And I did but the main person I wanted got away. He's name's Xander Santos."

I don't know what kind of reaction he wanted from me but I remained composed.
If only he knew I had finished Xander for him.
I wanted to ask him why he was in School, I didn't want to sound suspicious.
"Is that all?" I asked in a calm voice.

"Well I started going to school because of you. No, because I thought you were someone but you weren't apparently."
I was kind of confused.
"I thought you were some assassin, she's very famous in the underworld. Everyone wants her but I'll kill her first." My soul left my body for a minute.

"I also went to school because of Tatiana, there's some business I had to finish with her family. They wanted to kill my father. When I was done I left."
The Lopez family! Liam was crazy, he got seventy percent of their net worth. I don't even know how that bastard, Ricardo Lopez gave all that to him.
I didn't want to ask about all that, it was his business.

He waved a hand in my face, "What would you if I were her? The assassin girl."
I shamelessly asked, he smiled and pulled me forward.
"I would still keep you." I thought he'd say something like maybe kill me.
Liam  sat me on the his laps.

"Athena, by now you should know I'm beyond obsessed with you. Whether your her or not I'll always be obsessed with you. And if you were her....you'd have already killed me. That's because I'd let you."
I don't think I was even thinking about killing him.

But would he let me live if he found out I was the Black Shadow.
