Liam drove us to a cliff, goodness heights. There was a glass house at a distance, the whole place was magnificently beautiful. I muttered a 'wow' to myself looking at the crystal blue water.
I turned back and smiled at, "I have decided to name your bike, Fury because it's super fast and fierce."
He shrugged and walked to the edge. No, I wasn't going there, Liam said, "Come join, or is someone scared of heights. I quickly ventured, "No of course not... I just don't want to stand there."

I pouted, he instead pulled me as I cried out for him not to. I gave in and closed my eyes while tagging on his shirt.
"Open your eyes little bee, it's not that bad. By the way did I mention, you looked pretty with glasses." Damnit, I wasn't supposed to come with these. I really didn't like spects, thank God my eyes were getting better plus, I hardly used them.
I quickly took them off and put them in my pockets.

"I don't like heights, they're scary and they make me feel dizzy plus..." With all his attention forcing on me, he loosened his grip and I ran away.

Liam caught me from behind and carried me as my legs kicked the air. I cursed, "Fuck you... bastard." He put me down, then grabbed my right hand and put it behind my back. His other hand gently tightened around my neck.
"Rule number one, don't curse at me, Caramel. I don't like it."
I rolled my eyes at him, "And who are you exactly, why should I listen to you?"

"You wouldn't want to know." I would want to know so badly before killing him. Liam smirked and let me go.
Suddenly, the clouds got darker. It was definitely going to rain, Liam grabbed me and put me on his bike. "Hey what's wrong...why are you riding us so fast."
I started asking many questions but he answered none till we reached the glass house. There no way it was his, it then started drizzling.  Liam quickly headed for the door, "Hey come in."

I was waiting for it to rain, duhhh! Who doesn't like rain?
It then finally rained, I screamed and walked a few steps away from the house. Thank God my braids were all out. I had cornrows.
"Come join me Salvatore, if want me to come in then, come catch me." When he came to catch me, I dodged him a few times.
"Listen, I can't be out hear to long."

"Sounds like someone's scared of rain." As I was still laughing at him, he started breathing really bad. Coughing, he lost balance and went down on his knees with his hands against either sides of his head at the sound of thunder. "Hey are okay! What's wrong..."

"Don't touch me", he shouted at me and I flinched due to his tone.
I didn't care though, I helped him stand and walked him to the house, straight to one of the rooms. Liam was shivering and his eyes, I quickly took his clothes off and left his underwear on. I tried lighting the  fire but it was stormy, wind was blowing and I was technically panicking. I got a huge duvet and covered him, I sat on the side and did my best to warm his hands.

"Stay with me...please." This was my fault, my heart was beating really fast, a tear rolled from one of my eyes. What the heck? It wasn't for him.
I just didn't want anyone else to die in my hands. Hesitantly, I took my clothes off and remained in my panties.
I entered the bed and went closer to Liam. Our body contact made my temperature to raise. I had to make sure he was warm. Memories of the safe place so called Juvi started playing in my head.

Flashback
"There's a new girl, everyone come check." A girl with freckles, orange hair and green eyes shouted. I found myself laying on the ground. All the kids in this place looked dirty and wornout.
The girl came up to me, "Hey, I'm Willow." She offered her hand and I stood up. I had blood all over my white floral dress. The other kids walked back in fear, I huge masculine man came and pushed Willow away. I had always been an angry child, so I started pushing him away, I even bite his hand but he pushed me away.

"Everyone, stay away from her. She just killed someone, same may happen to y'all."
The kids stepped back with their head bowed.

It was true though, I killed a man to save my mother. The same guy had attacked us in Hawaii.
Mum had taken sleeping pills that night, I didn't know why. When I woke up to get water, I found the creepy guy lurking around.
When we were fighting, I didn't remember killing him though, I remembered burning his eyes with a lighter. He assaulted me.

Six months passed by as I was still suffering in this place, I hated my mum so much. At least I had Willow and another black girl, Zahara by my side and I was also found of the little ones. Willow was much younger than us though. I had just turned ten, Zahara was nine and Willow was seven. She was our little princess,  all I remembered was that she always wanted to be a model. Even that little, I took it away from her on that fateful day we tried to escape.

We left that weird place and found ourselves at the beach.
I spotted a small boat and we managed to pedal away.
But what we didn't know was that we had trackers in our bodies.

The big guy, Roberto took us back when we were unconscious.
When I woke up, I found a Zahara and Willow still unconscious. I was so scared, had they been killed. Tears rolled from my eyes, after a few attempts of shaking them, they both woke up.
We hugged so tight as though we would never let each other go.
Roberto pulled me away and forced a gun into both my hands.
"No... Roberto, I swear I won't do this again, please."
He shouted in his stupid accent, "You are choosing who to kill, black shadow. Will it be Vixen or Storm?" He normally used our code names, vixen was Zahara and Storm was Willow.

Roberto laughed and whispered in my ear, "Or are you going to be racist? Let me guess, you will kill Zahara because you share a continent. No...no..., You'll kill cute little Willow because you don't want to be called a racist." I pushed him away.

"I won't, I refuse to kill my friends." He grabbed my hair and called out to someone else to bring his property.
They were all the other kids I had stayed with but they only brought the innocent little ones. What was wrong with this wicked and witless man?

"You either kill one of your pretty friend or the little ones die. You are obviously killing Storm because she's white, right?" Roberto's voice echoed in eardrums and his laughter filled my ears drums. He ordered his men to start killing the kids.

At once, I pulled the trigger at both Willow and Zahara. I broke down in tears, what had I just done? By the time I reached there, Zahara was breathless and fortunately Willow was still breathing. "Princess." I called out to her, "Princess, stay with me. I'm sorry, please forgive me. I had to do this."

Willow fought for breathe, I hugged her as she whispered. "It's not....your fault honeybee, you always save people. I love you...I don't want to die...I..."
Before I knew it, she was gone...

From this day I hated kids. I failed to protect one...
