"Wake up!"

I feel myself getting stirred in my sleep. I open my eyes to see Poppy shaking me awake.

"Poppy? How did you get in here?" I ask, rubbings eyes.

"Ominis let me in. Bloke seems super depressed, tell me everything."

I laugh at how fast she was speaking, leaning in wanting more details.

I sit up in my bed and flatten my messy hair.

"I'll tell you at breakfast, let me get changed and I'll meet you outside the hall." I explain, standing up to go toward to bathroom.

She nods and leaves the dorm, leaving me to my own doings.
_____

Poppy waited impatiently near the entrance of the Great Hall for me. She would stomp her foot back and fourth to show that she's been waiting for a moment.

I make my way to her and she turns to me, rolling her eyes.

"Took you long enough."

I push her shoulder playfully and we both enter the great hall. I take a seat next to her, usually I sat with the Slytherins, but it would be nice to have a break from the drama between me, Ominis, and Sebastian.

But Poppy wanted to know it all.

She clears her throat, waiting for me to start talking.

"Is it a big deal, Poppy?" I sigh, digging into my toast.

"You blasting Ominis halfway across the school yard and him almost killing your boyfriend, yeah it's a big deal!"

I shake my head. "Seems like you know everything then"

She scoffs and pulls my plate away from me to gain my full attention.

"Start talking, Moon." She demands, looking at me harshly.

"Poppy."

She gives me a hard glare, pushing away my plate further.

"Fine." I sigh and continue. "Sebastian and I were dueling in the clock tower the other day, he kind of showed off and kissed me in front of everyone."

Poppy's mouth hangs open in astonishment.

"Word got back to Ominis, and well, you know the rest."

She sits there silently for a moment, handing me back my plate. She looks like she's contemplating on asking me certain questions, confusion washes over her face.

"So you and Ominis?" She asks, carefully.

"We aren't friends anymore, I don't want to talk about so can we please just stop?" I ask harshly. I could see she was taken back by that for a moment, but I didn't know how else to get her off my back.

I glance to the Slytherin table, watching as Sebastian and Ominis talk nonstop. Sebastian seems to be trying to cheer his friend up, but it wasn't working.

I wasn't sure how Sebastian could forgive Ominis so easily? The dude almost killed him!

As these thoughts run through my head, I hear a smash in the table in front of me, as Imelda sits down.

I look at her with a dirty glare and she smirks at me.

"How they still let you be a student here is beyond me." She says.
