As we walked hand in hand over to Jess's grave with flowers, I let go of Sam and took the flowers. "You always said my roses were lame, so we brought you some different flowers," I said, trying not to cry.
"Jess," I kneel near her grave, "I'm so sorry" I cry "We should have protected you........ I should have protected you"
I should have told you the truth," I cry, as I go to put the flowers down. Suddenly, her hand emerges from the dirt, grabbing my wrist. "Ahhh!"
