Sonic.EXE: The Rise of Darkness

Chapter 6 - Hope

Cream was controlled by fear, although she heard the hedgehog pass by her, she wasn't sure if it was save to come out, what if he was still there? What if he's waiting for her to get out? What if he's behind her right now? Cream was scared for rightful reasons. She's sure that the scream she heard came from Amy, which could only mean that Amy is dead. The only thing she remembers is that Amy told her to find the others. 

Cream saw this as an impossible task to complete. She has no idea where they are, nor did Amy tell her where they were. A shaky sigh escaped her mouth as she slowly stepped out of the bush she was hiding in, carefully looking around. It was night, the moon was shining down on the forest as the sound of wind blew through the trees, dragging a few leaves alongside it. Cream decided to do the most logical thing that came to her mind - run away as far as possible. And that's exactly what she did, she took one deep breath before proceeding to run, hopefully going far enough for that Demon to never find her.

X stood there, looking down at Amy's dead body, a creepy smile on his lips, 

"How pathetic you fought, Amy.",

he said in a low tone. The Sound of someone approaching shifted his gaze from Amy straight ahead only to see Sonic.EXE return, empty handed. X could already assume that he in fact, did not find Cream, but decided to let him explain. As Sonic.EXE stepped closer, he sighed, 

"I couldn't find her.",

 X scoffed, looking to the side but instantly looking back at him, 

"Why am I not surprised? You can't do anything right, can you?", 

Sonic.EXE clutched his fists in response, 

"Only because-", 

He began, but got cut off by X raising his hand,

"I don't want to hear it. You couldn't even catch a little girl.", 

EXE gritted his teeth, but decided to stay calm as he did not want to not be disrespectful against his 'father', 

"Don't worry, I'll find her eventually, just wait and-",

X shook his head and cut him off again, 

"No, you won't find her. But.. I know someone who might.", 

his gaze shifted down at Amy's dead body again. Another smile crawled onto his lips. It took a while for EXE to understand what he meant, but when he eventually did, he scoffed,

"You want to make her your puppet, don't you?",

he asked, crossing his arms afterwards. X just looked up at him, his smile remaining as he let out a small low chuckle,

"Oh, yes, I do,"

Without wasting any more time, he raised his hand just enough so it was directly pointing at Amy's corpse. His hand began to shake slightly as his eyes shifted from his usual color to red. A strong aura crawled around Amy as her body began glowing in the same color, becoming brighter and brighter each second until her body flashed red. X slowly let his hand back down, his hand no longer shaking but his eyes still red. He looked back up at Sonic.EXE,

"It'll take a while until she's awake. In the meantime, find Tails, and bring him to me - ALIVE. That's an order,"

He said, his tone shifting to a more serious and demanding one. Sonic.EXE wished he could decline, to say no and do whatever he pleased, but - he knew that was not an option,
