"Where there is hope, there are always hardships.
Ocean, desert, the world. Everything is the same thing,
Different name, I see ocean, I see desert, I see the world~
Everything is the same but with a different name,
It's life again~"

It had been a month since Jungkook had been staying with the six young strangers. He was healthier now, though his memory still eluded him. However, he had learned from the other boys that he was the youngest among them. The oldest was Seokjin, also known as Jin, followed by Yoongi, Hoseok, Namjoon, Jimin, and lastly Taehyung.

He could smell the salt in the air as the sea breeze hit his face, and the continuous crashing of waves on the shore filled his ears. They were living in a house just a few meters away from the beach. Jungkook found serenity on the balcony of his room, where he could get a full view of the sea. He had always been a beach person.

The only people who had prevented Jungkook from running away were his Hyungs. They were too kind to him. Deep down, he had always known he didn't belong to this family. His suspicions were confirmed by a man who had come to their house the previous day, searching for someone, but Namjoon had shooed him away without explanation. Jungkook decided to accept his life with them; they loved and cared for him as their own family member, despite knowing he was a stranger to them.

Jungkook couldn't bear to hurt their feelings. Besides, he had nowhere else to go. The only ones who could help him regain his memory were them. Though they always denied his memory loss, he knew that one day they would speak up. So, he set aside his skepticism and tried to get along with them.

"Jungkook-ah, what are you doing?!" he heard someone scream from below. He peeked from the balcony and found Jin pouting, hands resting on his waist. Jungkook gave a last look to the sea waves before rushing down the staircase.

As soon as he got down, he was greeted by a bright smile. "Ready to go for a swim?!" Hoseok beamed, his face radiating joy like the sun itself. Jungkook scanned the room and saw everyone in their boxers except him. Namjoon and Yoongi wore dark sunglasses, while Jimin and Tae had towels wrapped around their chests. He nodded in excitement.

Jin approached him and combed his messy hair with his fingers. "Are you going to go like this? Go and change into something else," he commanded, sounding like a mother. Jungkook liked this guy. Jin was always parenting him, guiding him in this unknown world. "Yes, Hyung," he replied, running upstairs to get changed.

The small, affectionate gesture from Jin made Jungkook think about his real parents, whom he couldn't remember. Were they worrying for him? Or worse, did he have no parents at all? He shook that thought away and put on his boxers. Now was the time to enjoy. He was impressed by his perfectly toned abs. He probably used to work out before. He struck a sexy pose in the mirror and giggled to himself before running downstairs to join the others.
