Taehyung and the others tried their best to track down Jungkook but had no luck. They even filed a case at the police station, but it was closed after three months due to lack of leads. Jungkook could not be traced. It seemed as if he had disappeared without a trace after that night.
His Hyungs refused to believe that he was dead. They held onto hope that he was fine, wherever he was. They tried to return to their normal lifestyle, and they were never attacked by any gang after that day. The neighborhood had regained its serenity. Still, memories of Jungkook brought tears to their eyes. It was hard to live without him. He was cherished by all six of them, especially Taehyung, who was closest to his age.
One early morning, Taehyung was collecting seashells on the beach for his collection. The sea was calm, and its waves hummed in his ears. The morning sun's rays made his caramel hair appear golden. He watched as a little crab crawled into the water. Namjoon hyung would have loved it, he thought, smiling at the image of the giant-sized Namjoon running after a crab like a curious baby. Namjoon had even adopted one a few years back, though it had unfortunately passed away after five months.
"Hey you!" a masculine voice interrupted his thoughts.
Taehyung looked up and saw a shadow hovering over him. He met the gaze of an unfamiliar man. The only thing familiar about him was the 'snake' tattoo below his right ear, proving that he was from the Sinister gang.

"What do you want here?" Tae grumbled, though his soul was white with fear, he kept a straight face.
"I will only say it once. Hand over Jungkook to us," the man sharply stated.
