The interview was finally over. Jungkook sat in his sleek black Lamborghini, his preferred color for its ability to mask the 'Kookie' within him. Now, he was 'JK', the formidable leader of Dark Nebula. Weakness was not an option.
His left fist clenched tightly, his knuckles turning white as he gripped a photograph of Jungyeol. "I'll never forgive them. I won't spare a single life. You will get justice," he vowed through gritted teeth, inhaling sharply.
This vendetta had consumed him ever since his father, Don Min Joon, had kidnapped them to exact his revenge. Jungkook's mind raced with plans and strategies, each more ruthless than the last. The memory of his father's cold-blooded actions fueled his anger and determination.
Dark Nebula's reputation for mercilessness was about to be reinforced under JK's leadership. He couldn't afford any slip-ups, any sign of the softer side he had once shown. His transformation from 'Kookie' to 'JK' was now complete, with a singular focus on retribution.
As the driver started the engine, the car roared to life, mirroring the fury burning within him. The path ahead was dark and perilous, but Jungkook was ready to navigate it, driven by the promise of vengeance for Jungyeol.
Flashback
Jungkook's father had grown old, once a formidable mafia boss who eventually recognized the error of his ways. Seeking to end Dark Nebula after his death, he kept Jungkook and Jungyeol away from the illegal operations, allowing them to grow up like normal children.
During this time, Doh Minjoon, the new leader of the Sinister gang, sought a partnership with Dark Nebula. When Jungkook's father refused, Min Joon felt deeply insulted, turning Sinister into a bitter rival of Dark Nebula.
In retaliation, Minjoon kidnapped Jungkook and Jungyeol to teach Mr. Jeon a lesson. Believing his children were dead, Mr. Jeon was devastated. After a prolonged search, his men finally tracked down Jungkook. He was found living with his six hyungs in their beach house. The discovery rekindled hope, but also reignited a fierce desire for vengeance against the Sinister and Min Joon.
Mr. Jeon was furious after Jungkook narrated how Jungyeol was killed mercilessly before his eyes. "I thought to end this gang," he chuckled bitterly. "I guess I was being naive. Jungkook, you need to take over my position. You will be the next leader of Dark Nebula. Your successors will rule this gang for years."
