2 hours after Bihan's death

The air was heavy with tension as Mahiro, Kali, and V stood in the dimly lit alley, their gazes fixed on their friend Kai. His face was a mask of anguish, his hands trembling at his sides. They had been through so much together, but now their paths were about to diverge in ways they never could have imagined.

"Kai..." Mahiro's voice was barely a whisper, choked with emotion. "I can't believe you did that Kai..."

Kai's eyes flickered with regret as he nodded solemnly. "I had no choice," he said, his voice hoarse. "The king... Bihan.. he was corrupt. He was destroying everything you're people fought for he killed Kou my friend..."

Kali stepped forward, her eyes shining with unshed tears. "But now what?" she asked, her voice trembling. "You can't stay here. They'll be after you."

V nodded in agreement, her expression grave. "We'll help you," she said firmly. "We'll do whatever it takes to keep you safe."

But Kai shook his head, his gaze fixed on the ground. "No," he said quietly. "You can't. If they find out you're helping me, they'll come after you too. I won't let that happen."

Tension hung in the air as the reality of the situation sank in. Their friend had become a fugitive, hunted by the very people they had once sworn to protect. And now, they were faced with the impossible task of saying goodbye.

With a heavy heart, Mahiro stepped forward and enveloped Kai in a tight embrace. "Take care of yourself, brother," he said, his voice thick with emotion. "And remember, no matter where you go, we'll always be here for you."

Kali and V joined the embrace, their tears mingling with Kai's as they clung to each other in the darkness of the alley. They knew that this was the end of an era, the end of their carefree days spent fighting side by side. But they also knew that it was the beginning of something new, something uncertain, and something that would test their bonds of friendship like never before.

As they finally pulled away, their eyes met one last time, a silent vow passing between them. No matter what the future held, they would always be there for each other. And with that thought in their hearts, they turned and went their separate ways, each one carrying the weight of their friend's sacrifice with them as they disappeared into the night.
