Tiffany didn't go looking for her because she knew exactly where Nica was. She stood outside the door all day long with her arms crossed, leaning against the wall near the entrance and smoking cigarettes one after the other. Tiffany just waited for him to come back, but despite the darkness and cold outside, she still stood there, wearing the clothes she had been in when it was the middle of the day and it was three times warmer. Finally, Tiffany decided to go get her. But why didn't Nica leave at all? Because a part of her was extremely grateful to Tiffany for saving Alice, for giving her conditions for a dignified and peaceful life. What if she was right and calling her would only ruin her peace of mind, create doubts and even worse, bring Chucky down on her? If Charles found out about this, he would definitely murder all three of them.

The front door opened and Tiffany came out.
-Nica, will you come inside?
-N-No... - she muttered.
-But it's cold.
-It's... nevermind.
The blonde walked up to the girl and wrapped her in a blanket.
-Hold on. To make you warmer. If you change your mind, the door is open. - having said this, she returned back to the house. Nica looked at where Tiff had just been standing for a moment, and then pulled the blanket even tighter. She sighed loudly, smoked the last cigarette from the pack and went inside. She felt a strange feeling in her stomach when she saw Tiffany still sitting in the living room. However, as soon as the blonde noticed her, she looked at her a little more eagerly.
-Hello, Nica. I'm glad you're back though. I'll make you some tea. - she decided, and before Nica replied, she disappeared down the corridor. Holding steady on the wall and taking small steps, she made her way to the couch and sat down on it. The woman placed the cup in front of her and headed towards the exit again.
-Are you leaving already? - she asked. Tiffany stopped, but didn't turn to face her.
-You're mad at me, I won't disturb you. - she replied in a half-whisper.
-Actually, I wanted to talk to you.
-Really? - she asked with hope in her voice.
-Y-Yes.
The older woman changed her direction and sat down next to Nica on the sofa.
-And you don't want anything to drink? - Nica asked - Can I make you some tea or... - she started getting up, but Tiff stopped her with a wave of her hand.
-It's nice that you're worried, but I don't want to drink right now. I want to know what you have to tell me. I was waiting for you to come back, but I didn't think you'd want to talk to me.
Nica took her seat again.
-Were you waiting for me?
-Of course. But speak now.
-I... I just... miss my... my family... - tears came to her eyes - And that's why I reacted like that. Because I miss Alice and I would do anything for her. I thought she was dead and you didn't tell me anything... - she burst into tears. Tiffany hugged her without a word.
-Shhh... calm down. Don't cry, Nica. I know, I know I did wrong. I should have told you this earlier. If you want, we can visit her.
-No, we can't! You were right, I can't destroy her life. It's over. I will never see her again.
-You will see. I'll fix it somehow.
-Tiff, I'm sorry. She is alive at all thanks to you. You saved her from Chucky - she cried into her shoulder - I'm really grateful to you. I shouldn't get carried away like that.
-You have the right to feel sorry for me. For not telling you, for not having limbs, for imprisoning you, for ruining your life. Tiffany felt Nica tighten her grip. - I know my words won't fix anything, but I want you to know that I'm extremely sorry. I'm so sorry. For what Chucky did too. I'm very sorry.
-He didn't just hurt me... - Nica whispered, pulling away from her and looking deeper into her eyes. - Andy, Kyle, Jake, Devon, Lexy, Glen, Glenda and you. We are all its victims. But it was you who broke your heart. Pity. He doesn't know what he's lost. Let him repent now. He doesn't deserve you, Tiff. - something like a sincere smile appeared on her face. Tiffany smiled sadly too.
-Thank you, Nica. - she said, placing her hand on her cheek, and she placed her robotic hand there.
-Which doesn't change the fact that you're still crazy. And you just broke one of my rules. You weren't supposed to touch me without my consent - she said and placed a quick kiss on her lips.
