Max and Lyra being caught by Eleazar (Leonid) in a sensual moment Max in a drunken state and not in love with Lyra:

Max and Lyra were celebrating their victory over the rival crew, their joy and relief palpable. Max, having had a bit too much to drink, stumbled into Lyra's arms, his lips locking onto hers in a passionate kiss.

But it was all just a drunken mistake. Max and Lyra were friends, nothing more. And Eleazar, who had been watching over them with a fierce devotion, knew it.

As he emerged from the shadows, his eyes gleamed with a intensity, his voice low and husky. "Well, well, well. Look what we have here," he said, his words laced with a hint of amusement.

Max, still in a drunken haze, looked up at Eleazar with a goofy grin. "Eleazar, my man! Come join the party!" he slurred, his arms still wrapped around Lyra.

Lyra's face flushed with embarrassment, but Eleazar just chuckled. "I think I'll pass, Max. But I'm glad to see you're enjoying yourself."

As Eleazar spoke, his eyes locked on Max, a look of unbridled desire flashing across his face. Max, still in a drunken state, didn't notice, but Lyra did. She exchanged a nervous glance with Eleazar, her heart racing with anticipation.

"Max, maybe we should get you to bed," Lyra said, trying to extricate herself from his embrace.

But Max just pulled her closer, his lips still locked on hers. "No way, my love... uh, Lyra! Yeah, that's it. Lyra!"

Eleazar's eyes never left Max's face, his gaze burning with a intensity that made Lyra's heart race. She knew that Eleazar's feelings for Max went far beyond friendship, and she wondered what would happen when Max finally sobered up.

As the night wore on, Max's drunken haze only intensified. He stumbled and staggered, his arms still wrapped around Lyra. Eleazar watched with a mixture of amusement and frustration, his eyes never leaving Max's face.

Finally, Lyra managed to extricate herself from Max's embrace. "I think we've had enough for tonight, Max," she said, her voice firm but gentle.

Max looked at her with a confused expression, his eyes bleary. "Wha'? Oh, yeah. Bed. Good idea, Lyra."

Eleazar stepped forward, his movements swift and silent. "Let me help you get him to bed, Lyra," he said, his voice low and husky.

Together, they managed to drag Max to his quarters, his legs stumbling and his arms flailing. Eleazar's eyes never left Max's face, his gaze burning with a intensity that made Lyra's heart race.

As they finally got Max into bed, Eleazar's hands lingered on his shoulders, his touch gentle but firm. "I'll take it from here, Lyra," he said, his voice soft but commanding.

Lyra nodded, her eyes locked on Eleazar's face. She knew that something was brewing between him and Max, something that went far beyond friendship.

As she left the quarters, she couldn't help but wonder what would happen when Max finally sobered up and realized the truth about Eleazar's feelings for him.
