God. I had been wanting this for so long. I wrapped my arms around his neck. His hands made their way around my waist and slowly moved down to my bottom. His scent was a combination of ashtray and wood-scented cologne, and it complimented the earthy setting we were in. His kisses slowly got more fierce as I felt him gently biting my lips. He wasn't this intense when we were together, but I hadn't realized that I liked it a lot better this way.Alex pulled away from me, his eyes filled with passion.
"I've missed this."
"I missed you more," I said. "I'm sorry for not understanding you. I genuinely thought you left me for fame."
He looked at sky. It was clear, minus a few white specks.
"That's alright, darling. I left you abruptly with no explanation, so I can see why you were so upset. But it's led to us being here now. Together."
I smiled and gave him another kiss, though I pulled away before it intensified again. I playfully pushed him to the ground. Alex laughed in response and dragged me down to the grassy path with him. I sat and leaned my head against his shoulder. He pulled a cigarette out of the pocket of his jacket, lit it, and put it to his mouth. I just gazed at his side profile. His jawline was incredibly sharp. He had grown so much handsome since I last saw him. This look and style suited him incredibly well. I didn't realize that Alex caught me staring him.
"Oh, the cigarette?" He took it out of his mouth. "Well, I've always been an occasional smoker. But being a celebrity and all, it's become more frequent. With the stress, this is just how I deal with it."
"You're so funny." I took the cigarette out of his hand and placed it to my lips instead. I puffed out the nicotine filled breath and glanced at him. "I used to smoke in high school too, till my father found out and made me quit. I bet that's one thing you didn't know about me."
We took turns sharing the cigarette as we continued to look around our surroundings, as well as each other. He told me more about his band, as well as his bandmates. I told him about my current plans of heading to law school and how I dealt with my strict father at home. We were laughing and talking, reminiscent of our old times together. It was a moment filled with passion, without the obvious. Alex soon stood up and brushed off the excess dirt off his pants.
"Do you want to go somewhere, say, enticing?" He mischievously flicked his tongue at me, and winked.
"You're being weird," I laughed. I held my hand out towards his direction. "Take me away, Mr. Turner."
He took my hand in his and led me out of the forest.
