Once Upon A Time.....in a poor German kingdom in 1732, lives a king who couldn't stand having a poor kingdom. He always said he would marry his son, Prince Klaus , to the richest kingdom thats wants his son to marry his daughter when he's of age.
The subjects of the king were also not living a good life themselves as food was nearly starting to become scarce in the streets. This led to many displays of con artist, scammers, and thieves robbing poor homes.
Now, The story starts with a pleasant 17 year old girl named Karolin, a miller's daughter . She had nice curly brown hair that flew down her shoulders, hazel eyes, and pink cheeks. Told that she always resembled her late mother, her beauty was a rare sight to see.
She lived with her caring old father, the miller, that resides in a nice cabin behind the village of the kingdom. Nice plants were outside planted by Karolin since she always loved nature. Her father, Julius, was always dear to everyone he met.
Today was freshly morning, and Karolin made her father a few scrambled eggs with a buttered toast, which she sprinkled cinnamon on. She made herself a saucer of food and began eating breakfast with him.
" how did you sleep last night Karolin?" Her father asked happily while eating his breakfast.
She replied sitting down, " I slept well father. I noticed from the way your dressed that you are going somewhere today."
He replied, " as a matter of fact I am. I'm going to town to sell this flour and grains. The king should need some as the prince is having his 18th birthday rolling around soon."
" oh I bet he's handsome," smiled Karolin, " I've never met the prince ever in my life, nor the king."
Her father laughed, " you have no need to my child. There will be one handsome man that will take your hand one day and make you the happiest woman in the land."
" oh my," said Karolin blushing away, " that day will come soon but until then, I'm happy with the garden and sowing my things."
Julius was soon done eating his breakfast for the day and got up from his seat, wiped his mouth, and began heading out the door. There were bags of flour and grain sitting upon a wagon, waiting on him near the door.
